President Donald Trump did not mince words in his response to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei's claim of "total victory," saying, "You got beat to hell."
During a wide-ranging press conference at the White House on Friday, the president was asked about the successful airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities and Khamenei's delusional videotaped message after the bombing.
"I am putting out a little statement, I am going to respond to the Ayatollah's statement yesterday that we won the war," Trump told members of the press. "I said, 'Look, you're a man of great faith, a man who is highly respected in his Country, you have to tell the truth. You got beat to hell.'"
"And Israel is beat up, too. They were both beat up," he added. "It was a great time to end it."
TRUMP: I'm going to respond to the Ayatollah's statement:

In a statement posted on Truth Social a short time later, Trump expanded on those thoughts and wrote that, "Why would the so-called 'Supreme Leader,' Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, of the Wartorn Country of Iran, say so blatantly and foolishly that he won the War with Israel when he knows his statement is a lie, it is not so."
"As a man of great faith, he is not supposed to lie. His Country was decimated, his three evil Nuclear Sites were OBLITERATED, and I knew EXACTLY where he was sheltered and would not let Israel, or the U.S. Armed Forces, by far the Greatest and Most Powerful in the World, terminate his life," he added." I SAVED HIM FROM A VERY UGLY AND IGNOMINIOUS DEATH, and he does not have to say, 'THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP!' In fact, in the final act of the War, I demanded that Israel bring back a very large group of planes, which were heading directly to Tehran, looking for a big day, perhaps the final knockout!"

"Tremendous damage would have ensued, and many Iranians would have been killed. It was going to be the biggest attack of the War, by far," the president continued. "During the last few days, I was working on the possible removal of sanctions and other things, which would have given a much better chance to Iran at a full, fast, and complete recovery - The sanctions are BITING! But no, instead, I get hit with a statement of anger, hatred, and disgust, and immediately dropped all work on sanction relief and more."
Trump's message went on to note that Iran needs to get back into the "World Order flow," warning that otherwise, things are going to get much worse for them.
He went on:
They are always so angry, hostile, and unhappy, and look at what it has gotten them - A burned-out, blown-up Country with no future, a decimated Military, a horrible Economy, and DEATH all around them. They have no hope, and it will only get worse! I wish the leadership of Iran would realize that you often get more with HONEY than you do with VINEGAR. PEACE!!!"
Trump's brutal message comes after the Iranian leader put out a message a week after the strike claiming that the U.S. "Operation Midnight Hammer" on Iran's nuclear facilities was a failure and that no major damage had been done, RedState reported.
Bob Hoge wrote that:
He also tried to portray the Islamic Republic as the victor in the conflict despite the fact that his country has taken repeated poundings from the Israelis and Americans:
Khamenei wrote:
"It [the U.S.] entered the War to save it [Israel], but it did not achieve anything from this War. They attacked our nuclear facilities, but they were unable to do anything important," he said.
Khamenei claimed President Trump "exaggerated" the results of the U.S. strikes on Iran. "They could not do anything, they could not achieve their goal, and they are exaggerating to cover up the truth," he said.
He added that Iran "dealt America a hand slap in the face" by attacking one of the U.S. bases in the region and claimed that the Trump administration tried to minimize the damages caused.
