Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has won re-election in a rematch against Democrat Stacey Abram.

The incumbent governor has been favored to win for most of the race, though the odds turned more heavily in his favor in the closing months.

Kemp touted his record in his first term as governor as the reason he should be re-elected. Abrams attacked his record as governor and also pushed a more progressive platform in an attempt to rally Democratic voters. Like most Democrats across the country, she also emphasized the Dobbs decision at the Supreme Court and its effect on abortion rights.
