Color me surprised: Sources are reporting that there’s a 99% chance Hillary Clinton’s private server was breached by foreign actors, which her camp was telling us unlikely.

Authorities now believe there is about a 99 percent chance that up to five foreign intelligence agencies may have accessed and taken emails from Hillary Clinton’s private server, two separate sources with intimate knowledge of the FBI investigations told Fox News.

The revelation led House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul to describe Clinton’s handling of her email system during her tenure as secretary of state as “treason.”

As we’ve been reporting since the Weiner Revelations (gross), the chances that Clinton is going to get in trouble have shot up significantly. Her system being compromised by five foreign intelligence agencies is bad enough. That it was a private system and unsecured makes it worse. That she lied about it on a nearly constant basis is also pretty terrible.

It’s an investigation that has become a high priority for the FBI, and it’s not the only one Hillary Clinton is tied to. She is still considered the favorite to win the election, which could very well make her the second Clinton to be impeached. Whether she is or isn’t, she still comes in with the type of baggage that will make it impossible for her to get anything accomplished during her time as president.
