Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan was a failure of epic proportions. It cost America in prestige, handed terrorists bragging rights, and, most importantly, cost the lives of 13 American soldiers. Then, Joe Biden made it worse. He dishonored the relatives of the dead heroes by checking his watch as the coffins were brought home. In my opinion, it was the most disgusting and shameful moment of his presidency. And Biden had many more.
Biden further dishonored the nation when he not only failed to acknowledge the monumental mistake of the withdrawal, but he also later claimed that he was proud of how he got America out of its longest war and equated Beau Biden with those 13 dead heroes.
When Biden met the families, he kept invoking his son Beau's name. The families were disgusted. He also did it during his interview with George Stephanopoulos:
STEPHANOPOULOS: I– I think a lot of– a lot of Americans, and l– even a lot of veterans who served in Afghanistan agree with you on the big, strategic picture. They believe we had to get out. But I wonder how you respond to an Army Special Forces officer, Javier McKay (PH). He did seven tours. He was shot twice. He agrees with you. He says, “We have to cut our losses in Afghanistan.” But he adds, “I just wish we could’ve left with honor.”
BIDEN: Look, that’s like askin’ my deceased son Beau, who spent six months in Kosovo and a year in Iraq as a Navy captain and then major– I mean, as an Army major. And, you know, I’m sure h– he had regrets comin’ out of Afganista– I mean, out of Iraq.
For four years, I was disgusted with the commander-in-chief.
When Donald Trump won his second term, a sea change occurred. On January 20th, not only was an incompetent commander-in-chief gone, but his national security team was also sent packing. Donald Trump assumed the presidency, and he hit the ground running. Yes, his flurry of executive orders and closing the border have been the “faces” of his success, but he is succeeding where Joe Biden failed. Trump has been finding and killing bad guys and changing the rules of engagement.
At Tuesday night’s Joint Session, President Trump announced that the “mastermind” of the Abbey Gate terror bombing was on an airplane headed to the United States to face justice. That news got a standing ovation from half the chamber and eerie silence from Democrats. My friend Bob Hoge reported that news on Tuesday night. Forty-three days in, and Trump was bringing the hammer. What we didn’t know then, and we now know, is that on the plane headed back to America was the president’s senior director for counterterrorism, Seb Gorka. In a post on X on Wednesday, he posted a photo of himself and his team of Tier One guys. They were accompanying the terrorist "Jafar" back to the States to face his fate.
President @realDonaldTrump made a promise to the families of the Abbey Gate massacre that the monster behind it would be hunted down.

Last night his Counterterrorism team brought Jafar to the US to face Justice.

On Wednesday, Gorka appeared on "Jesse Watters Primetime" and laid out the "how and why" of Jafar’s arrest. Gorka also spoke about what he wanted to say to Jafar. Gorka also said what he wanted to do. However, he just looked into a well of evil. The eyes of a terrorist.
Owing to his size (if you’ve never seen Gorka in person, he’s a big man), he said most people think he's "scary." Nonetheless, he said, he looked into Jafar’s eyes and saw the “pits of hell.” He “saw darkness in that man’s eyes, the likes I have never seen before, and I just felt good for the families.”

Gorka also discussed the massive change in how national security threats are handled by Trump as opposed to the feckless team led by Biden. He said that on day eight of Trump's presidency, Gorka and his team placed a map on the Resolute Desk showing the location of an ISIS compound in Northern Somalia. It had been surveilled for a year and a half during Biden's presidency. Trump looked at Gorka and, likely with an inquisitive look on his face, asked, “Why are we surveilling them?” Trump took out his trademark marker, checked the “go” box on the operational orders, and said:
“Kill them, kill them now.”
Thirty hours later, the ISIS camp and those in it were turned to dust.
