When news that Hunter Biden had abandoned a laptop at a repair shop in Delaware first broke, one question a lot of people asked was, “Why would someone leave a laptop filled with incriminating evidence at a repair shop and never pick it up?” There are a lot of theories as to why that might be, but now we know that Hunter’s left laptops at more than one place, and in a second instance that laptop, too, was seized by federal authorities.

In a story defending why NBC News hadn’t reported on the “alleged” Hunter Biden emails, the news org (perhaps) inadvertently revealed Hunter Biden had left a laptop at the office of Massachusetts celebrity psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow, whose medical license was “suspended after he faced allegations of sexually exploiting patients and illegally diverting prescription drugs”:

If he did leave the machine in Delaware, it would have marked at least the second time he has left behind a laptop.

According to two people familiar with the matter, a different Hunter Biden laptop landed in the custody of the DEA in February when they executed a search warrant on the Massachusetts office of a psychiatrist accused of professional misconduct. The psychiatrist has not been charged with a crime.

Hunter Biden was not a target of the search or the investigation, and his lawyer ultimately got his laptop back. It’s not clear why his computer was left in the doctor’s office.

Of course, NBC News leaves out a few relevant facts: the name of the well-known doctor, the type of professional misconduct of which Ablow was accused, and that Ablow’s medical license is suspended due to those allegations.

So, no one can hazard a guess as to why Hunter Biden was hanging out at the office of a doctor accused of illegally diverting prescription drugs, and who also was allegedly involved in some shady sexual activities (to put it mildly)? (Rhetorical question.)

Additional El.Oh.El: Since this nugget was buried at the bottom of the NBC News piece, the rest of the MSM ignored it. The Washington Examiner, though, caught it, happened to click the link in the NBC News story leading to the fact that the doctor involved was Ablow, and covered the story of the second laptop on their site.

The chief genius over at the Daily Beast, Molly Jong-Fast, didn’t read the Washington Examiner piece so carefully and early Sunday referenced the instance in her opinion piece, “That Sound You Hear is Trumpworld Panicking,” saying, “Friday night far-right website The Washington Examiner magically produced ANOTHER Hunter Biden laptop because the first one didn’t work.” After she was called out and informed that it was actually the far-right NBC News that “magically produced” the second laptop, she had to change her piece.
