Earlier on Saturday, during the launch of the Shields of the Americas Summit in Doral, FL, Trump paid homage to these fallen service members.
In his video remarks at the Summit, Trump alluded to his attendance at the dignified transfer, saying:
I'll be going, right after this, I'll be leaving for Dover, very sad situation, to greet the families of the heroes coming home from Iran. Coming home in a different manner than they thought they'd be coming home. But they're great heroes in our country, and we're going to keep it that way. Always, when it comes to war, there's always that, but we're going to keep it to a minimum.
At the dignified transfer, Trump wore a white Commander-in-Chief USA baseball cap. He led the presentation and salute in front of the transport aircraft with VP JD Vance, SecWar Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Dan Caine, and Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll.
Once presented, the president and the others stood with First Lady Melania Trump, Second Lady Usha Vance, and the cabinet and military personnel present. At the moment that each soldier's remains were transported from the carrier, the president, VP Vance, SecWar Pete Hegseth and other military members saluted.

When a U.S. service member dies while serving overseas, the Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations in Dover, DE, coordinates, from overseas to stateside, to ensure a dignified transfer of the service members' remains back to U.S. soil. Since 1955, the Charles C. Carson Center for Mortuary Affairs has overseen the dignified transfer of service members on the battlefield and base shootings, as well as victims from space missions and terrorist attacks.

Editor's Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
