Now that she has competition from new Squad member Cori Bush and other “Woke” voices in Congress, AOC is doing everything she can to stay in front of the cameras. She’s been on CNN two days in a row, talking about why she wasn’t at the Inauguration (who cares?), and the Impeachment trial (of which she knows little).
Fredo Cuomo loves to enable her, so he called her on regarding the latest Capitol kerfuffle over concealed carry.
“Rep. Andy Harris, of Maryland, set off a metal detector outside the House floor on Thursday and an officer soon discovered it was because he was carrying a concealed gun on his side, a Capitol official told CNN. The officer sent Harris away, prompting him to ask fellow Republican Rep. John Katko, of New York, to hold his weapon.
“According to a press pool report, Katko refused to hold the gun for Harris, saying that he did not have a license. Harris then left the area and returned moments later, walking onto the House floor without setting off the magnetometer.
“The Capitol official confirmed to CNN that Harris did not enter the House floor with a weapon. Harris’ office did not immediately return a request for comment.
“The Capitol Police officer who saw the gun informed his superiors and the department is investigating the matter, a Capitol Police source familiar with the matter told CNN.”
GOP lawmakers campaigned with images of them cocking guns next to photos of myself,
Now they are trying to violate DC law and House rules to sneak guns onto the House floor two weeks after a white supremacist insurrection that killed 5 people.

“White Supremacist insurrection”? Tell me how that broad brush covers John Sullivan, a Black, Left-wing, BLM-affiliated activist who was one among many arrested and charged in the January 6 violence?
In the video above, AOC breathlessly spoke about feeling “unsafe” around her fellow GOP members of Congress, and calling out Rep. Harris for daring to try and “sneak” a gun onto the House floor. AOC sounded like a bratty little sister ratting out big brother for breaking into Daddy’s gun safe.
“ ‘We don’t yet feel safe around other members of Congress,’ she whined to Cuomo.
“ ‘The moment you bring a gun onto the House floor in violation of rules, you put everyone around you in danger. It is irresponsible, it is reckless, but beyond that it is the violation of rules,’
“ ‘You are openly disobeying the rules that we have established as a community, which means that you cannot be trusted to be held accountable to what we’ve decided as a community. And so I don’t really care what they say their intentions are, I care what the impact of their actions are, and the impact is to put all 435 members of Congress in danger.’ ”
Since the January 6 Capitol mess, AOC has been milking her “ordeal” in order to bash Republicans, 2A, and anything else that will get Miss Little Whiny Tiny attention.
“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was at it again during a Friday appearance on MSNBC when she claimed she avoided being near GOP lawmakers during the riot at the U.S. Capitol. She indicated that she did not feel safe being in close proximity to her colleagues on the other side of the aisle. In other words, the representative, like her comrades, is squeezing every drop of juice out of the assault on the Capitol building, and this was the best she could come up with off the top of her head.”
One could understand why AOC might feel unsafe. She’s a media whore and a flame thrower, and not universally loved… even among her fellow Democrats. But that’s all on her.
AOC has shown she has no loyalty, whether it’s to the dinosaurs in her party, or her colleagues on the other side.
Senior Senator Joe Machin had to call her out on her rabble rousing, and she lost a plum Committee seat, probably because of her mouth.
“Yesterday, House Democrats handed would-be Democrat thought leader and power broker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a humiliating loss in her quest for a seat on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.”
Lately she’s been on a tear to “name and shame” anyone who objected to the Electoral College votes, blaming them for inciting what happened on January 6. AOC took to Twitter and her favorite cable stations to go after Senators Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz. She recently blasted fellow New York Representative Nicole Malliotakis (R-11) on her choice to object to the votes, and questioned Malliotakis’s intersectional bona fides. Once again, AOC brought up the concept of “safety”, painting Malliotakis as dangerous for her fully legal and Constitutional stance on the matter.
Rep. Malliotakis deliberately amplified a known lie and tried to overturn our election on it, which incited an insurrection of white supremacists that killed 5 people.
Her district is 30-40% people of color. How safe do you think they feel under her leadership? This is shameful. https://t.co/1E5QxrcPdL

If you watch the interview with Cuomo, you’ll notice that AOC needs to do her homework, not only about gun safety, but what is required to conceal carry at all in the state of Virginia. But she loves to wax eloquent on things of which she has no knowledge, and that includes who have been the actual perpetrators and recipients of gun violence against lawmakers.
Aside from the January 6 incident, where no member of Congress was harmed, the last time members of Congress were targeted by gun violence, the members were—wait for it—Republicans.
Paging Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana, who almost lost his life in a gun siege that was perpetrated by a Bernie Bro. Last time I checked, Bernie was her hero, and definitely Left of the Republican agenda. But do go off about those unsafe GOP representatives.
THREAD:
This is the second time in three years I have seen political violence firsthand. Republicans and Democrats alike must have the moral clarity to call out violent rhetoric whenever it's spoken, not just when it’s politically convenient. https://t.co/uG9nJO0gob

Since the Left is now demanding a return to the Fairness Doctrine, Cuomo should have had Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert on at the same time to weigh in, and debate AOC on her fallacious and incorrect knowledge on guns and concealed carry.
If Members of Congress won’t take a stand for our Constitutional rights in DC, you can bet they won’t take a stand back at home either. https://t.co/PRmVNrSEDP

Boebert would have wiped the floor with both of them. It would have made for better theater than the show AOC attempted to mount.
