In an extremely disturbing video, Santa Claus tag teams with Governor Gretchen Whitmer, aka Krampus, to tell children that they need to follow all the Coronavirus rules and her lock down orders.
For those unfamiliar, Krampus, is a European legend, that is half-goat, half-demon, and punishes misbehaving children at Christmastime. Kind of like Big Gretch has done to adults for most of the year. Krampus is believed to have originated in Germany, and his name derives from the German word Krampen, which means “claw.”
Such an apt description for this evil Harridan. As my colleague, Nick Arama described, Whitmer-Krampus used the moment for pure indoctrination:
“But this year, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer interfered in the normal tradition of childhood and used an imitation Santa Claus to tell little kids that they should follow her Wuhan coronavirus rules, saying Santa was “following the rules” and making sure that “he stayed safe and the elves stayed safe.”
It is clear from the staged questions (mostly about COVID-19) that this was some intern’s bad idea. It would be as gag-worthy as Lori Lightfoot’s “Rona the Destroyer” if it wasn’t so craven, and it is far worse than “woke” Santa who refused to let the little kid have a Nerf gun for Christmas. This is an elected leader using an icon of childhood and the Christmas season to inculcate the cultish behavior of the pandemic. Whitmer-Krampus peddles the usual propaganda of stay-at-home = staying safe, and the trifecta of mask wearing, social distancing, and washing hands.
The Santa wasn’t very polished either. Guess good talent is hard to find during a pandemic.
Through her clenched teeth that she thinks is a smile, Whitmer-Krampus threw in to call grandma, your cousins, and all that, but she made sure to emphasize that,
“this year it has to look a little bit different so we can all stay safe.”
As if they don’t already know this?! Instead of using Santa Claus’s visit to transport the children out of their reality and create a vision for a better life beyond the pandemic, all Whitmer-Krampus did was reinforce children’s fears and bad science.
Actor-Director Nick Searcy has it right:

In the Krampus legend, he has also been known to drag children to Hell. I think this video did a good job of that.
