Tony Bobulinski, former business partner of Hunter Biden, is suing former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, alleging she misrepresented a meeting with former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows as unethical and potentially illegal.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, focuses on claims Hutchinson made in her 2023 book “Enough,” in which she discussed the details of a meeting between Bobulinski and Meadows during the 2020 campaign. The former Hunter Biden associate is seeking $10 million in damages.

Bobulinski’s attorney said, “Ms. Hutchinson interposed commentary that gave a defamatory impression” when describing the meeting.

The lawsuit alleges that Hutchinson’s false portrayal of the meeting brought about tangible harm to the plaintiff’s reputation and livelihood. It indicates that the defamation caused “direct damages, damages to his reputation, humiliation, embarrassment, mental anguish, anxiety, and fear for his safety and the safety of his family members.”

Bobulinski claims he suffered financial losses and missed business opportunities because of Hutchinson’s alleged defamation.

Hutchinson gained national attention in 2022 as a witness for the Democrat’s House Select Committee J6 investigation into the origins of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol building. She made a series of allegations about former President Donald Trump and his supposed role in what the left falsely calls an “insurrection.” RedState’s Jim Thompson highlighted some of the holes in Hutchinson’s story.

She testified to multiple conversations that she claimed to have overheard. Each recollection of those conversations was prefaced with: “[He/she] said something to the effect of…” She was deposed before testifying to Liz Cheney’s leading questions. There was no opposing counsel to question her. There was no pushback, either in deposition or in public. That type of “kinda sorta” testimony isn’t worth much as evidence if ever presented as evidence at trial. But experts were quick to write 2,000 words defending her saying, in essence:  “hearsay only counts in a court”.

She testified that Trump had violently climbed over a Secret Service agent, and grabbed the steering wheel of the “The Beast,” the Secret Service vehicle that is used to carried the president.

Bombshell! But…she wasn’t in the belly of the beast, she heard from someone who heard it had happened.

Thompson also noted that “People with knowledge of ‘The Beast’ were quick to point out that no president is able to climb into the driver’s compartment, let alone over two Secret Service agents and grab the steering wheel.”

The lawsuit comes just after Bobulinski gave testimony before Congress as House Republicans pursue an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. The proceedings center on whether the president was involved in his family’s shady business dealings. Bobulinksi is believed to have knowledge indicating that Joe Biden was aware of Hunter’s business affairs and was intimately involved.

When Bobulinski first went public with his allegations against the Bidens, folks on the left mobilized to attack and discredit him. Now that his testimony is a part of the effort to impeach the president, it is not surprising to see these efforts ramp up. However, this lawsuit indicates that Bobulinski is not afraid to fight back.
