Just when you thought the radical progressive LGBTQ agenda couldn’t get any more ridiculous, they say, “Hold my Cosmopolitan,” and take it to yet another level of insanity. The North American Grappling Association (NAGA) has found itself caught in a chokehold of controversy now that female martial artists told their stories about being forced to fight against biological males – many without prior warning.
This isn’t just about fairness in sports; it's also about safety, transparency, and the well-being of actual females who wish to compete in combat sports.
The issue came to light in a new exclusive report from Reduxx.
Female martial artists have come forward to reveal that male athletes claiming to be transgender have completely overtaken the women’s categories of a major grappling association, leaving them fearing for their safety in many instances. One of the men, Corissa Griffith, took home four gold medals in the women’s category during a tournament in Georgia on October 21.
The North American Grappling Association (NAGA) is the largest submission grappling association in the world, and facilitates standards and tournaments in various martial arts, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. But while NAGA has provided competition categories for males and females since its inception in 1995, it has recently become the subject of controversy after a number of female athletes were found to have been matched up against trans-identified males.
The issue first received widespread attention in September after it was learned that a female Brazilian jiu-jitsu athlete had not been informed she would be competing against a male. Taelor Moore posted a clip of her fight against James “Alice” McPike on her Instagram, noting that there was a 65lbs weight difference between them.

In a written statement, the NAGA explained that it “does not require biological women to compete against transgender women” and that it gives “the choice to the biological women and if they decline, they compete in a division only with other biological women.”
This doesn’t sound so bad, does it? After all, letting the athletes choose seems to be a reasonable course of action.
But there’s a problem: This isn’t actually happening, according to the female athletes who spoke with Reduxx. In fact, they claim the organization has been matching women against men without informing them beforehand. Professional martial artists Jayden Alexander and Ansleigh Wilk indicated that they had no idea they would face biological males until it came time to step onto the mat.
In one case, Alexander faced a male named “Cordelia” and recounted that after the match, she “sat mat-side and cried as my teammates massaged out my cramping forearms.”
Of course, this speaks to the emotional toll a female athlete faces after having to face a male. But the physical consequences could be even worse.
Marshi Smith, co-founder of the Independent Council on Women’s Sports, addressed NAGA’s claim that it offers female athletes a choice by pointing out that “a rule is only effective if a federation will follow it and, most importantly, enforce it.”
This situation highlights a more profound cultural issue in American society: The ongoing tension between the progressive agenda and women’s rights. The Marxist crowd has shown it is fully willing to deprive female athletes of important opportunities and even threaten their health in the name of some ridiculous version of “inclusivity.” They are eager to defend this stance so aggressively that they have created an environment in which genuine females fear speaking out because they will be labeled as “transphobic.”
Wilk summed up the situation perfectly:
The majority of the women feel scared to even speak out about this matter. They don’t want to be labeled a bigot or transphobic. Women’s sports will cease to exist if this keeps up. Medals, belts, records, and money are going to be stripped right away from women.
In essence, these female athletes are being pressured to allow themselves to be thrown around like rag dolls by men to avoid being viewed as bigots. When females are dropping out because they are rightly afraid to face males with clear physical advantages, can anyone honestly argue that this is equality or inclusion? Can anyone say they are being treated fairly when they are subject to a social climate of intimidation and suppression of legitimate concerns?
Of course not. But we already know progressives don’t care. Transgenderism is an issue they can use to push their Marxist agenda, so they do not care how it affects women and other groups they used to pretend to champion.
