I would like to issue a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the far-left progressive crowd – especially the high-profile individuals who did yeoman’s work to help Republicans flip important seats. I assert that if it weren’t for these individuals, this red wave might not have happened and these people deserve our sincere thanks.
People like Virginia Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin and Lt. Governor-elect Winsome Sears are fortunate to have had a progressive machine that was willing to go to all kinds of ludicrous lengths to ensure they would defeat their Democratic opponents. One could not have asked for a better political partner.
Progressives, as a conservative/libertarian type, I appreciate the efforts you put forth to ensure your eventual defeat not only in this election but also in the 2022 midterms. Progressives, you truly blessed us last night and I do not want your work to go unnoticed.
For starters, your efforts to demean and smear parents who were concerned about your wokeist theology being injected into classrooms were crucial. You referred to these people as uneducated ignorant racists and defended the tenets of Critical Race Theory (CRT) being taught in the classroom even after claiming they were not being taught.
This inconsistency is one of many that made it abundantly obvious that your pundits and politicians are being completely disingenuous. I think I speak for all conservatives when I say we appreciate your decision to die on this hill.
But even further, some of you went above and beyond the call of duty when you colluded with President Joe Biden’s White House to label parents protesting CRT and mask mandates in schools as “domestic terrorists.” We especially appreciate how your media activists on CNN, MSNBC, and other outlets defended this action. Your stunning lack of principles prevented you from acknowledging that maybe this whole thing was going too far.
I would also like to give a special “thank you” to failed gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, who enraged parents when he insisted they should not have any say in what their children are being taught in their schools. It was also very kind of you to double down on this argument later, claiming that people applauded when you made the remarks.
But this isn’t all.
McAuliffe, you also joined the chorus of far-leftists claiming that parents who opposed CRT in classrooms were racist and that claiming the furor over the ideology was “made up.” Most politicians would have been wise enough to either apologize for, or clarify, these remarks. But you didn’t, Mr. McAuliffe, and for that, I say “good on you!”
I would also like to shout out to the leadership of the Lincoln Project. Yes, I realize you aren’t exactly progressives. You are whiny-assed rejects who, with tears streaming down your faces, took your ball and went home after former President Donald Trump made you irrelevant. Nevertheless, I feel you are also deserving of our earnest gratitude.
Instead of pushing a series of asinine ads designed to help Democrats, you took it even further. You actually enlisted your own operatives to pose as white nationalists standing in front of Youngkin’s tour bus carrying tiki torches.
I don’t need to tell anyone that only people who are lower than whale excrement would be willing to exploit the chaos and death that occurred at Charlottesville in 2017 for political purposes. It seems that whenever a situation calls for this type of sick political ploy, we can count on the Lincoln Project to be depraved enough to step up to the plate, and for that, I salute you.
Well, not all of you. I’m still not okay with the pedophilia stuff.
While it is important to express gratitude to those who helped Republicans win in this election, I believe we would be remiss not to also mention those who are ensuring that the GOP will deliver a brutal smackdown to the Democrats in next year’s midterm elections. There are literally people on the left who are insisting that Democrats should not take a lesson from this shellacking and instead continue to double down on stupid.
These people are worthy of the highest of praise.
Jared Yates Sexton, you did us a tremendous favor by convincing your audience that the concern over CRT is just a “panic.” By not even allowing for the possibility that these parents might have legitimate concerns, you are helping to alienate people who might be otherwise willing to support Democrats. The best way for the left to help the right is to downplay the concerns of the people, and we appreciate your willingness to do us a solid in this regard.
After the loss in Virginia we have to talk about how the "CRT panic" is a fascistic, white supremacist conspiracy theory weaponized by an authoritarian movement.

Eric Levitz, your comments reflect the deep flaws in the Democrats’ decision to use the Jan. 6 riot as a way to smear conservatives. By pretending that this incident was worse than 9/11 and trying to tie it to the broader conservative movement, folks like yourself are exposing how utterly dishonest you are. But not only that, you have graciously revealed the fact that you and your ilk truly believe the American public is stupid enough to be taken in by your lies, and I appreciate you for this.

Jemele Hill, you are such a gem. In fact, I believe people like you will do more to help the conservative movement than anyone else. By insisting that Democrats did nothing wrong to alienate voters, you are helping to convince them to keep embracing a failure of a strategy.
Even more, by casting anyone who didn’t agree with the left as white supremacists, you are suggesting that Democrats adopt the “persuade by insulting” strategy that has failed time and time again. If I could, I’d give you a hug and buy you flowers.

Progressives, you deserve a pat on the back and a handshake. You were critical to our victories yesterday and I want you to know that folks like myself are grateful for your hard work. Please continue pretending that those of us who disagree with you are white supremacists. Don’t stop trying to pull off hoaxes intended to deceive the American people. If you feel the need to label us as “domestic terrorists,” please do so. We need your help to continue winning elections. So far, you have not disappointed.
