1. The Andre Bauer Campaign Strategy: From Wh*re to ‘Raghead’ With David Brody In Between
Well, Andre Bauer’s campaign to paint Nikki Haley as a two-timing wh*re — and you’ll have to forgive me if you object to the word, but that is exactly what the dribbling out of “I slept with Nikki Haley” stories was designed to do — blew up in his face. Now he’s moved on to her being a raghead. What’s funny is that the same players are involved in both stories, but this time they’ve roped in CBN’s David Brody. Please click here for the rest of the post.
2. Reckless, Feckless, Relentless Incompetence
Via the Washington Times we learn the National Debt has now surpassed the 13 trillion dollar mark. Yeah, I know…yawn…so what. The problem here is that we just watched Congress barely pass a Bill raising the National Debt ceiling to 12.394 TRILLION dollars. Obama, master of everyone else’s checkbook, signed it into law on December 28, 2009, yet here we are hardly 5 months later with it 600 BILLION dollars beyond even that figure…sans even a modicum of tomfoolery and political cover normally enjoyed via Congressional action. This Administration can’t manage the Auto Industry, it can’t manage Wall Street, it can’t manage the Health industry or the Insurance industry, and it can’t manage the economy. It can’t manage Foreign diplomacy, it can’t manage fighting wars, and it can’t stop dictators from getting nuclear weapons or sinking its neighbor’s ships. But failure, sadly, doesn’t seem to slow Obama’s lust for spending more money hoping to find that thing he can finally “get right.”Please click here for the rest of the post.
3. Never Let A Good Crisis, etc. (Oil Spill Edition)
In his two most recent appointments to his presidential commission on the BP oil spill, President Obama reveals that he’s got waaaay bigger fish to fry than finding out what went wrong of the Deepwater Horizon, and fixing it.Please click here for the rest of the post.
4. White House Memo Makes Offer-gate into a Scandal
Former White House Counsel John Dean spoke those words to President Richard Nixon almost 40 years ago as the Nixon White House was desperately trying to cover its role in the Watergate scandal—ultimately unsuccessfully. The cancer did bust, the administration was laid low, and succeeding generations of Americans learned that the cover up is often worse than the crime. Now, the Obama administration finds itself in the middle of its first genuine Washington scandal. And the White House’s ham-fisted effort to sweep the budding scandal under the rug—failing to heed the lesson of Watergate—is largely to blame.White House Counsel Robert Bauer’s memo detailing the White House’s version of events in the case of Pennsylvania Democratic Senate nominee Joe Sestak raises far more questions than it answers. Please click here for the rest of the post.
