The Nation’s Aaron Maté is no fan of President Trump. However, long before most of his peers, he understood that Trump did not collude with the Russians to win the 2016 presidential election.

Shortly after the lightly redacted copy of the Mueller Report was released, Maté sat down with RT (Russia Today) America’s Chris Hedges to discuss the far left’s inability to accept the report’s findings. This interview was highly recommended to viewers who were having difficulty understanding the report by YouTube.

The Washington Post published an article questioning this recommendation because RT is “funded by the Russian government.” The article states that, “AlgoTransparency, founded by former YouTube engineer Guillaume Chaslot, analyzed the recommendations made by the 1,000 YouTube channels it tracks daily. The group found that 236 of those collectively recommended RT’s “On Contact: Russiagate & Mueller Report w/ Aaron Mate” more than 400,000 times.”

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, who has been one of the most vocal proponents of the conspiracy theory, of course, found it ridiculous that YouTube would tout an RT interview as an information source and took to twitter to share her wisdom.

Maté responded to the misguided Maddow by citing twenty occasions in the last two years when she clearly went way over the top with her anti-Trump rhetoric. Here are those tweets. Enjoy!
