We missed one yesterday, folks. In and amongst all the sound and fury of the Smollett “hate crime” debacle sucking all the air out of the room, a significant anniversary occurred. Two years ago yesterday, Norma McCorvey, “Roe,” in the landmark abortion case Roe v Wade, passed away.

McCorvey’s journey from useful tool of the left, to an outspoken opponent of abortion, was a long one full of twists and turns. The most significant twist was when as described by McCorvey in her book, she saw a fetal development poster and at that time and in words from her own book, Won by Love,”

Yet something in that poster made me lose my breath. I kept seeing the picture of that tiny, 10-week-old embryo, and I said to myself, that’s a baby! It’s as if blinders just fell off my eyes and I suddenly understood the truth—that’s a baby!

Ms. McCorvey ultimately became a Catholic and spent her time actively supporting pro-life efforts. As I noted here, we can expect the leftists to ignore her, now that she has served their purpose. Our team, however, needs to do better.
