If you're Gen X or a Millennial like me, you've likely heard of Gwen Stefani. Her band No Doubt entered my generation's radios with all the power of a sledgehammer with Don't Speak and Spiderwebs. From there, Stefani's music and personal style would change, but one of the biggest shifts she underwent was marrying country music star Blake Shelton.
Stefani's always been Catholic, but she's become much more open and vocal about it, and many people believe this is influenced by Shelton. Maybe, but regardless, Stefani's Catholicism has her now promoting prayer apps alongside the likes of Christ Pratt, Mark Wahlberg, and Jonathan Roumie.
Gwen Stefani encourages people to pray and take part in Lent while promoting Christian prayer app Hallow.

This turn has apparently made her an enemy of the left.
Those aren't my words. Those were the words of The Telegraph in their recent article about Stefani, where they accuse her of being a "MAGA Barbie":
A loud and proud Catholic who is now married to Oklahoman country singer Blake Shelton, Stefani’s current look – soft blonde waves, form-fitting occasion dresses, a suspiciously wrinkle-free forehead for a 56-year-old – is pure Maga Barbie, and a far cry from her grungy 1990s heyday. Fans who spent their teenage years plastering their walls with No Doubt posters could surely never have predicted their edgy idol would one day look like the older sister of White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
The article is dripping with venom, making me wonder if Poppie Platt, the article's author, is taking Stefani's Christian commitments personally, as if she were one of those teenagers who had her poster up on the wall that she described. Platt adds little jabs like saying Stefani "had replaced independence with subservience," which is linked to an article bashing "trad wives."
But as I read it, most of the ire is directed towards Stefani's open Christianity. It's as if all the other things she's guilty of could be forgiven, but that is crossing a line.
And the line is getting more and more pronounced. The left has always had a bit of a problem with God. This is the party that did boo God at their own convention all those years ago, but it's gotten even more intense as the left has drifted further and further into an extreme shadow.
It's gotten to a point where some on the left are brazenly allowing their anti-Christian nature to dictate who can and can't succeed in University.

And while that, too, has been a problem, a lot of what we see seems to be geared toward promoting and helping anything that harms Christianity at the end of the day. For instance, you'd think it's an anti-theist problem, but as you've seen over the past few years, many on the left are perfectly happy to support religions that directly oppose Christianity, even if said religion opposes every single "virtue" the left claims they have.
Just reading Platt's article, you can see her point out various issues she has with Christianity, chief among them is the fact that we Christians are against killing babies in the womb.
I mentioned Pratt earlier, an actor who is incredibly popular with many different people, but he's been an open Christian in Hollywood for so long that it's a wonder he still gets work. The amount of hatred that's flung at him daily is so intense, and the fact that he goes on with his life, still openly worshiping Christ and with a good sense of humor to boot, is honestly incredible.
In his latest speech after his Grammy win, Jelly Roll stated that Jesus is "not owned by one political party," and I hate that he thought he had to say it, but he absolutely did, because I think he, like many, sees that the left is trying to make Christ a political issue. It's become their litmus test about who belongs and who doesn't. It immediately defines someone's belief system, and it gets in the way of some of their most highly held and holy tenets, such as abortion, transgenderism, and anti-white patriarchy beliefs.
So anti-Christian are they now that these are the same people who applaud actual Satanic displays going up at state capitols.
If anything, this tells me that there's something else going on with the leftist party that isn't just ideological, it's spiritual, and the hatred for God feels a lot less political and a lot more metaphysical.
