The Left Continues to Show That Racism Is Allowed If They're Doing It

I'd like to tell you that we're a post-racial society, but we're not. We might have had a bit of a breather from it somewhere in the early 2000s, but once Barack Obama got elected, racism came storming back through the door like it owned the place, and we were all squatters.

Thing is, the left would tell you that racism came back because people didn't want to see a black president, which is a very weird thing to suggest, seeing as how Obama was, indeed, black, and a majority of Americans voted for him. If a majority pulled the lever for a black president, then that means an awfully large number of white people did it.

Yet, still, the Obamas were suggesting we lived in a racist country at every turn. He was right, only it wasn't the racism he described. It was his side that was consistently demonstrating how racist they actually were.

The left has always been the side that has declared racism is wrong the loudest. They pearl clutch at the idea of white supremacy, and accuse our system of being built on the backs of slavery to support a white patriarchy. They make movies in Hollywood that finger-wag at the American populace for being prejudiced based on skin color.

Racism was alive and well, but it was racism against white people, and it was okay because it was dressed as a defensive action against all the Nazis that were clearly running around in the open, where nobody could see them.

Oh, except for those random neo-Nazis that would show up in front of conservative gatherings and weren't Antifa at all.

But as it stands, the left's racism isn't just racism against white people at all. It's just a general sense of racism. It scratches an itch they have but never admit to, and we saw that racism really leap into the spotlight when a Minnesota anti-ICE idiot called a black ICE officer a "house n****r," and with a hard "r" no less.

*LANGUAGE WARNING*

This wasn't said in a joking manner. This wasn't a drive-by idiot who just wanted his 15 minutes.

This was said to a black man around other leftists who didn't stop and say, "Whoa, too far." They pressed the attack as he said the word.

Moreover, I didn't really see any leftists pop up online, at least in great quantity, and condemn the use of the word. If I didn't know the left was racist at its core, this would've been entirely confusing. This is the side that constantly prides itself as being "antiracist." So where were they?

They saw it. They heard it. As it turns out, they agree with it.

Touré effectively put the left's thoughts on it in a video, where he said:

If you couldn't watch the video, Touré makes the case that this white leftist was using the term in a "historic" context, as this black ICE agent was doing the work of the white establishment. As such, it's okay that white people use the word, because it's not racist, it's accurate as a definition of the man.

Which is an incredibly racist thing to say.

"He is black and not on my side, therefore, he is a word that is racist when it comes out of the mouth of anyone but other black people," is a really weird take. Touré even begins his video saying it's racist 99.9 percent of the time, but because it's being used against the left's political opponents, it's somehow magically not racist anymore.

But it's still a slur being flung against a black man, and if it's a slur being used against a person in a racial context, then it is racist.

There's no way around that.

But this is the left. Its unofficial motto remains "It's okay when we do it," and now we can throw "usage of the n-word" on the things they think are okay if used against people they don't like.
