“When I am weaker than you, I ask you for freedom because that is according to your principles; when I am stronger than you, I take away your freedom because that is according to my principles.” - Frank Herbert, Children of Dune
I could say we spent the last four years watching as the Democrat Party eroded our freedoms and made every incursion possible into stripping us of our rights in some way, shape, or form, but that wouldn't be entirely accurate. Democrats have been trying to screw the American people over for years.
Even back during Barack Obama's administration, conservatives were being attacked from American institutions and agencies. We've been labeled as terrorists, locked up, punished. Democrat officials paved the way for lawfare to happen against normal citizens for the crime of not agreeing with the body politic.
They threatened to have us fired from our jobs if we didn't obey, throwing us out of our livelihoods by force over reasons that were never truly good ones.
They called us Nazis, fascists, xenophobes, transphobes, homophobes, racists, bigots, and every other name in the book.
They told us that we would pay for our defiance...
... and now that we're in charge, they want peace?
Democrat Chuck Schumer isn't just everything that's wrong with Washington, he's everything that's wrong with America. He can be held responsible for some of the worst decisions of our modern government.
Yet, now that his party doesn't the power it once did, and the people he spent so much demonizing and troubling are in control, he wants peace and bipartisanship.
"To my Republican colleagues, I offer a word of caution in good faith," he said on the Senate floor. "Take care not to misread the will of the people and do not abandon the need for bipartisanship."
Schumer added that Republicans may be "tempted" to go to the "extreme," and said that it's consistently backfired on the party of power. Schumer says the Senate is most productive when everyone is bipartisan.
Adorable.

Schumer is begging Republicans take it easy on them, now that Trump won the election and has majorities in both chambers.
He unironically warns Republicans not to “go to the extreme”.
After the Dems just waged political warfare for 8 years…

Hilarious.
Schumer didn't seem to have a that attitude when he held all the cards.
Remember when he told two Supreme Court justices they "will pay the price" and that "you won't know what hit you?"
I do.
Senator Schumer threatening 2 Supreme Court Justices with the consequence of a violent attack from an angry mob!

This is the same party that shrugged at their political opponent nearly being assassinated twice. This is the same party that advocated for rioting in the streets when it looked as if their power might be in jeopardy.
Where was the mercy for those who had to sit and watch as their business sank beneath the waves as the Democrats tried to lock people away in their homes? Where was the bipartisanship when Republicans tried to secure their own borders and the Democrats launched lawsuits to stop them?
Where was all this good will when North Carolinians needed help, and they were denied it because they were Trump supporters?
The answer is no. No quarter. No mercy.
I will advocate for the Trump administration and the two years we have (hopefully more) to mercilessly drain the swamp to the point where D.C. is almost unrecognizable. I want to see so much corruption unearthed that it makes the people thirsty for more. I want to see those guilty of crimes done in the shadowy parts of the government to see the inside of prison cells.
I saw what extreme looks like. The left exhibited it all the time. People died because of it.
What the right will exhibit won't be extremism, though it might look like it to the left.
God willing, we're going to fire a lot of people, eliminate a lot of waste, reduce a lot of taxes, make a lot of rules against government, and severely weaken government to the point where coming after American citizens and political opponents isn't just hard to do, it's costly and punishable.
Obviously, the Democrats aren't going to help us do this, at least not in large part, because they don't actually believe in bipartisanship.
But I truly hope we do some real damage to the system, and you can expect little mercy as we do it, because we surely didn't receive any.
