CNN Contributor Scott Jennings Silences CNN Panel After Giving Them a Much Needed Reality Check

Despite all the alleged electricity in the air at the DNC, one thing haunts the entire Democrat Party operation, and no, it's not Donald Trump.

As CNN contributor Scott Jennings told a panel amid the hype of the DNC, Democrats have a serious problem in the form of Democrats, particularly revolving around the fact that for over a decade and a half, they've been in charge most of the time.

Yet, despite the fact that they've been at the wheel, with Kamala Harris being one of those drivers, they're still trying to place the blame for every bad thing that's happening in this nation on Trump, and it's a very simple fact that Jennings noticed that the Democrats are tiptoeing around.

As you can see in the video, the panel sat in silence as Jennings made this very solid point:

"The gap that I see in all these speeches -- as good as they were -- [Kamala Harris] is in the White House right now. Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years, and for all of the talk about division and the problems in the country, and people are hurting, Democrats have mostly controlled this country.

Trump had it for four, the Obama's and Biden had it for the rest of the time, and somehow, it’s still all Trump’s fault, and somehow, she hasn’t been at the center of it. To me, that is the glaring hole in this campaign that hasn’t yet been solved at the convention. How do you explain all of the problems that will be solved by the person who is currently in there for the last three and a half years, and who is supposed to be already working on solving it?"

Jennings is absolutely right. While the people at the DNC and members within the Democrat Party's media bubble might have convinced themselves that it is indeed all Trump's fault, the truth is more accurately seen outside in the real world, where people are paying far more than they were when Trump was president.

And the Democrats don't have a response to the state of the country that makes them look good, which is exactly why they have to rely on the "orange man bad" line of attack. Their incompetence and irresponsibility with everything from the economy to the border can't be dismissed by pointing the finger somewhere else when it's been them in control of the nation the vast majority of the time.

As reported by the New York Post, a majority of people believe the nation is headed down the wrong path:

Among Republicans, 87% said the country is headed in the wrong direction, with just 8% saying the country heading is headed in the right direction and 5% unsure.

Among Democrats, 43% said America is heading in the right direction. An almost equal percentage – 42% –  said the nation is headed in the wrong direction, with 16% of Democrats saying they are unsure.

Sixty-nine percent of voters who identify as independents said the country is headed in the wrong direction, 16% said America is headed in the right direction and 15% weren’t sure.

Trump didn't put us on this path, the Biden/Harris administration did.
