Over the past couple of years, the Democrats have attempted to gin up something that would incite a movement or generate a voting base from a specific subject. With Black Lives Matter now dead in the water thanks to a heap of corruption it would rather not inspire people to look too far into it, the Democrat Party is on the prowl for something divisive, scary, or enraging to get the people pulling the lever for whoever they say to.
They can't seem to get people scared of climate change or another wave of the Coronavirus. Foreign wars aren't as popular as they used to be, and with DEI and CRT becoming increasingly unpopular and the economy a huge weight around their neck, they have fewer cards to play.
But at least Democrats can always try to prey on women's sensibilities through tired feminist talking points. Going after the women's vote also allows them to talk about and raise money for their favorite pastime: abortion.
And the White House is going hard on the abortion talk.
Take this tweet from Biden's Twitter account, for instance.
With your voice, your power, and your vote, we can restore Roe. pic.twitter.com/NUz8KNReh3

Or this one from the White House itself which technically doesn't count as an ad for the Biden administration, but...come on.
It’s time. pic.twitter.com/P7rk2eARy7

At this point, what else is there for Biden's campaign to push besides false promises about student loans, "Orange Man Bad" rhetoric, and abortion?
In his latest campaign stop, Biden made the return of Roe his central topic of conversation.
“Remember, it was Donald Trump and the Supreme Court who ripped away the rights and freedoms of women in America, and it will be Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and all of you who will restore those rights,” Biden said at the performing arts center at George Mason University in Manassas, Virginia.
But it's not going to save them.
Not for lack of support. More women consider themselves "pro-choice" than "pro-life" 55 percent to 41 percent, respectively, according to Gallup. According to a recent Marist poll, there's even a decline in resistance to taxpayer funding for abortions.
It's a hot iron for Democrats to strike, but abortion is a tertiary issue at this point. In fact, according to a poll by Redfield and Wilton Strategies, abortion ranks sixth on a list of issues important to voters, and it tied with the environment at 21 percent.
According to voters, the economy takes precedence at 60 percent while healthcare, the number two concern, came in far under at 33 percent. This was followed by immigration at 28 percent.
The economy is king when it comes to decisions about voting, however, so if the sitting president is presiding under a broken one by the time the voting starts, he's usually booted out. The thing is, it's likely that some of these people who think abortion is an important issue will still vote against Biden to find a way to put the economy back on track.
But this poll actually can reveal the desperation of Democrats at this point. If Biden's campaign is putting a hefty amount of eggs into the abortion basket, then it means they don't really have much to say for all the more important things higher up on the list. It means they've been defeated there, and they are hardly going to bother with it.
The strategy at this point is to make abortion seem like a much bigger issue than it actually is, considering the current state of the country. The Democrats' plan is to artificially inflate the severity of the disappearance of Roe and make it seem as if women are just one more court decision away from living in "A Handmaid's Tale."
It's all they have at this point, but don't underestimate their ability to convince people that something is far more terrifying than it actually is. The Democrats have the entire corporate media, news, and entertainment sectors as their vanguard. Pro-abortion messaging is going to go through the roof here very shortly.
Pro-life groups need to find a way to counter this if they're going to break up the brainwashing attempt and bring people back to reality.
But regardless, the Democrats shot themselves in the foot with their destruction of the economy. While this doesn't necessarily mean Republicans are guaranteed a W in 2024, it does mean that Democrats have a steeper hill to climb, and abortion might not be enough to get the job done.
