It's odd to think that the word of God and talk about the love of Christ could be heard at a major Disney event, and yet, actor Brendan Fraser made it happen.
The actor, currently experiencing a resurgence in popularity after experiencing years of hardship appeared at the Epcot Center's candlelight procession for Christmas where he began speaking about Christ's love on stage.
"He didn't have much, but what He did have, He shared. It became plenty," said Fraser from the stage. "Food, water, shelter, care. He met the world around Him with empathy. He saw hunger and shared the food from His plate. Saw thirst, poured for them from His own cup. Saw sickness and offered His time for their healing."
Fraser continued by describing that Jesus Christ used his human hands to care for all people, including those who betrayed him, and that the spirit of the season lives in Christ's actions.
"It lives in each and every one of us," said Fraser to applause from the crowd.

Hearing Christ's name said at Disney isn't something you'd expect nowadays, but every so often, it happens. Actor Chris Pratt also preached God's love during the same event, testifying that the love he has for his son helps him to further understand the love God has for us. He too received applause upon the mention of God.
Fraser's discussion of Christ seems out of place at Disney but is welcome nonetheless. Disney has buried itself in radical leftist politics for some time now, pushing social justice and LGBT agendas and getting as far away from traditional values as it can. The result has been audiences and customers walking away from the company causing it to lose billions and billions of dollars as well as bringing itself into a fight over board seats against Nelson Peltz and Trian Management.

If Disney had stuck to its traditionalist guns and continued to create great works of heart and compelling stories it may still be the king of entertainment in the Western world but it has long given up that throne and people do not expect anything good to come out of Disney anymore.
This is why it's so surprising to hear the name of Jesus Christ spoken aloud and in such a positive way on Disney property. While some may say Fraser didn't go far enough with his words in discussing Christ, it's pretty incredible that a celebrity experiencing a comeback would openly praise Christ in public and risk angering those in Hollywood who might end up making work hard for him again.
Regardless, it's nice to hear messages like this being said on a big stage in a world where corporate media would rather Christ not be talked about at all. However, many civilizations have attempted to repress the word of God throughout Christianity's history and God always finds a way to be heard.

Props to Fraser for being that at a place and time where it's rare to hear about Christ and his love and effect on the world.
