White House Disgustingly Uses Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's Assassination to Push Gun Control

On Thursday, RedState reported on the shocking news that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, a longtime friend of America in the fight against communist powers, was assassinated.

The world reacted to the tragedy accordingly, with almost everyone saying something to remember the man, a solid statesman, and friend. I say “almost everyone” because, for a time, the White House was conspicuously absent. As more and more statements from world leaders came out, including one from Russian President Vladimir Putin of all people, the White House’s silence on the matter was very noticeable.

But finally, Biden did issue a statement. It contained comments about the slain man that managed to read hollow despite some of it including personal experiences, and how his leadership of the Japanese people was good, but then at the end of it, the White House couldn’t contain itself. Naturally, as is the leftist creed, they can’t let this tragedy go to waste and decided to push some politics on the back of Abe’s death.

“While there are many details that we do not yet know, we know that violent attacks are never acceptable and that gun violence always leaves a deep scar on the communities that are affected by it,” read the statement from Biden.

Abe was Japan’s longest-serving Prime Minister and in his time in the seat, he did a lot of good, not just for Japan, but for the world. He deserved a lot more respect from the leader of the free world than to have one party’s agenda slapped in an official statement that would go down in the books of world history.

Of course, that’s likely one of the reasons Biden’s handlers included that in his statement. When they talk about the reaction to Abe’s death in future generations, a statement from Japan’s closest ally will be read and in that statement will be a push for gun control.

To be clear, Japan has incredibly strict gun control laws. Since 1958, their laws state that “No person shall possess a firearm or firearms or a sword or swords.”

The gun used by Abe’s assassin was homemade.

It’s disgusting but typical of the left to hyper-focus on their own agenda so completely that they will shamelessly use a world leader’s assassination to push their own narrative.

Abe deserved better, but when it comes to the radical western left, “better” isn’t something you can expect.
