“CNN is fake news.”
You could say that was a phrase popularized by President Trump, but that’d be inaccurate. CNN is the one that made that phrase so repeatable that “fake news” and “CNN” became synonymous. They’ve managed to make nearly everyone angry with their false reporting, and now we can add MMA announcer and podcast extraordinaire Joe Rogan to that list, who seemingly half-joked about suing the “news” network.
“Do I have to sue CNN? They’re making sh*t up,” Rogan said during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. “They keep saying I’m taking horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor. But CNN keeps saying I’m taking horse dewormer. They must know that that’s a lie.”
The lie came from CNN guests who blast Rogan for taking Ivermectin which has shown effectiveness against the COVID-19 virus. The medication comes in many forms, including some that can be given to animals for other reasons, but the fact is that the kind Rogan is taking is not, in fact, a horse dewormer.
Rogan now appears to be one more example of how Ivermectin actually works in treating COVID, something that CNN has avoided talking about.
“What they didn’t highlight is that I got better,” said Rogan. “They’re trying to make it sound like I’m doing such wacky sh*t that’s completely ineffective. CNN was saying that I’m a distributor of misinformation.”
Rich, coming from CNN.
Some are acknowledging it, and they’re very disappointed. Rogan’s guest pointed out that he received a deluge of messages wishing he had gotten sicker from the virus. Rogan responded by saying that what happened to him was their worst-case scenario since he bounced back from COVID so quickly. Rogan was one of the personalities at the forefront during the pandemic who wasn’t as scared as people would have liked him to be and seeing everything go so right for him was upsetting to COVID alarmists.
“They’re weak bi***es,” Rogan shrugged.
CNN’s inability to keep their stories free of bias-generated falsehoods has already gotten them in trouble before. CNN was forced to settle a lawsuit with Nick Sandmann, whom CNN edited a video of during a confrontation with a leftist activist. The edited video made Sandmann seem as if he was the aggressor, which CNN played off of to make it seem as if Trump supporters were racist. The unedited video showed that the leftist protester, a man from an Indian tribe, was actually the instigator.
There’s no telling if Rogan was actually serious about the lawsuit, but CNN is once again leaving out certain facts in order to push a false narrative with Rogan at the center.
