I swear I can’t open a browser without immediately getting hit full in the face by the screeching hoards of leftists currently losing it over…well…anything.
It doesn’t seem to matter what it is that’s happening. The reaction is always going to be heavily disproportionate to the situation. How or why they’ve gotten to that point is beyond me and people far smarter than I am will likely be able to piece together the string of events that lead to this, but regardless, here we are.
A perfect example is the reactions I posted today about Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. As you can see in the article, the left had a wide-ranging response to the news. Some screamed, some cried, and some used it as a reason for radicalism.
The reaction to Barrett was just as ridiculous as it was for Brett Kavanaugh in 2018. It came with all the tears, screaming, and destruction from the left that one could ask for. Democrat politicians were pushing the drama up a few notches with their own ridiculous speeches.
“I am angry on behalf of women who have been told to sit down and shut up one time too many,” said Elizabeth Warren to the angry crowd, referencing a man who has not ever been on record telling a woman to shut up and sit down in his life.
It doesn’t stop with Supreme Court justices. Overreaction has been utilized in every situation lately including the death of an Iranian terrorist general. Actress Rose McGowan begged Iran not to hurt us after we sent Soleimani to the river Styx without any coins.
Alyssa Milano took to the internet to ball on camera because she thought the border situation was just too much for her.

As I said before, I’m not entirely sure how the left got to this point. It would be good to know, but at this point, I think the more important question is what’s stopping them from learning that these overdramatics don’t help change anything.
This is the behavior of children and it’s behavior that most people eventually grow out of, but many of these people are grown well into adulthood.
There’s something about the modern left that inspires some kind of arrested development. I’ve wondered before if social justice advocacy leads to some sort of mental disorder due to the bizarre behavior that many SJWs resort to, but it looks like the entirety of the left is infected with this little mind virus is some way.
People who embrace leftist honestly seem to believe that the world is going to end with every inconvenience or political loss. It doesn’t matter the subject. The death of Net Neutrality was supposed to bring about the end of the internet as we knew it with millions of people kicked off it because…reasons.
This level of stress this has to induce on an individual can’t be healthy. The amount of anger, rage, and responsibility they’re required to feel must send people into some sort of mental breakdown.
I’m just speculating but it seems that the reason the left has devolved into this party of tantrum-throwing grown children is that they put enough social pressure on themselves to drive themselves insane.
If that’s the case then there’s a very simple solution…
Care less.
The left often likes to tout that it’s the party that cares about others, and maybe they truly believe it because in their heart they think they’re doing everything they do in the name of justice, inclusivity, and acceptance. They truly think they’re the good guys and that comes with responsibilities.
The truth is that no one person can actually handle that much care for others. The number of rules you’d have to follow would be a list miles long and, as is the nature of social acceptability, that list changes by the hour. The healthy thing to do is to make sure that you and those in your immediate circle are taken care of. Caring about everyone else’s problems and obeying a code that requires submission to fickle gods will eventually drive you insane.
At some point, we as a society have to admit that being a little selfish is okay and that not caring so damn much about things that hardly affect you in the first place is actually pretty healthy.
Again, it sounds cold to say, but it is what it is. We can only take so much strain and social justice advocacy, as the left subscribes do it, asks more of you than you can possibly deliver.
