With every underhanded thing the left can do to Trump having failed miserably, be it a Russia hoax or impeachment trial, the media is now scraping the bottom of the barrel in a desperate attempt to find something that will damage Trump’s credibility.
According to the International Business Times, they’re now trying to make you believe that Trump’s mental state is deteriorating. Why? Because they claim his vocabulary is “much simpler” than it used to be:
Experts previously analyzed the changes in the POTUS’ choice of words and speaking manner, and they offered possible reasons why his vocabulary is deteriorating.
Ben Michaelis, a psychologist from New York City, said that there has been a clear reduction in Trump’s linguistic sophistication in recent years, and his word choices and sentence structure have also become very simple.
“In fairness to Trump, he’s 70 so some decline in his cognitive functioning over time would be expected,” he told Stat News.
Just to be sure, more experts were asked to weigh in:
John Montgomery, a fellow psychologist from New York City, said that the only way to know what’s really wrong with Trump is if he would undergo rigorous testing.
“But I think it’s pretty safe to say that Trump has had significant cognitive decline over the years,” he said.
They also brought in a neuropsychologist just to put icing on the cake:
Neuropsychologist Sterling Johnson from the University of Wisconsin added that Trump’s difficulty in his use of language may also have something to do with the immense pressure he’s under including all of the scandals he is involved in.
“It could also be due to a neurodegenerative disease or the normal cognitive decline that comes with aging,” he said.
The summary of all three guesses is that Trump is under immense pressure and due to age is rapidly declining in mental health. The idea here, obviously, is to plant the seed of doubt in your head that Trump, 73, can continue on much longer, and that it may be wise to choose someone else to take his place.
Just so you’re aware of what your alternative choices are, you can pick from…
– A 78-year-old man who can’t utter a single sentence without saying the word “billionaires” or “fair share,” and doesn’t seem to have a solid grip on how an economy works or knows history well enough not to repeat its mistakes.
– A 77-year-old gaffe factory who has earned the title “creepy uncle” and can’t seem to interact with disagreement without resorting to grade school insults.
– A 70-year-old woman who habitually lied about her identity, and like the 78-year-old, seems to believe that failed systems of the past will work today.
– Or, if you want, you can pick the 77-year-old dark horse candidate whose reaction to anything he doesn’t like is to ban it, and believes that the poor should be taxed because they might use that money to hurt themselves.

If they’re going to hit him for his mental abilities due to age, then they should probably check the ages of the other frontrunning candidates, most of whom are older than he is.
There could be a myriad of reasons as to why Trump has simplified his language, if he even has, and the most likely one is that the simplest means of communication is oftentimes the most effective.
Regardless, this is a pretty desperate look for the media.
