The relationship between Joy Behar and Meghan McCain continues to deliciously devolve, and now has gotten to a point where the women will snipe at one another, cross their arms, and not speak at all for awkwardly long pauses during the show.
In this recent tiff between the two, as the segment on Amy Klobuchar’s blizzard laden 2020 announcement was made, McCain moved to say something causing Behar to snap at her.
“Can I get through this please?” said Behar.
The conversation continued normally for a few minutes until McCain decided to finally speak up, attacking Behar in the process.
“Can I say something now, is that OK?,” asked McCain, signaling to Behar. “From Joy?”
“Do I have permission? I have permission to speak now on Amy Klobuchar, we’re all good?” asked McCain.
McCain moved to begin saying what she had intended, before being cut off again.
“OK. Two quick things. Number one, I had friends who were at her announce-” stopped McCain as Behar did something off camera.
“Nope, by all means, keep going Joy,” she said sarcastically.
“If you’re going to have a hissy fit, we can’t continue,” Behar told McCain.
Both women crossed their arms as the audience chuckled through the awkward silence. Eventually, Behar moved onto talking about Warren and McCain stayed silent through the rest of the segment.

This is not at all the first time they’ve traded verbal blows that ended with an awkward segment. The first time was during The View’s coverage of George H.W. Bush’s passing where Behar attempted to make it about Trump bashing instead of honoring the recently deceased President.
McCain took exception to it and shot Behar down, telling her that she didn’t care about her one-issue voter talk as Behar attempted to complain about the fact that she was talking.
