Watch: Judge Jeanine Updates Us on D.C., Then Reacts to Concerning Decision in 'Big Balls' Attack Case

Judge Jeanine Pirro is known for speaking her mind, whether the topic at hand happens to be current events, politics, or the latest legal case. It's probably why so many people tuned in to the former DA and judge's show on Fox News, "Justice With Judge Jeanine," for 11 years. Of course, she was recently confirmed by Congress as President Donald Trump's U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. That hasn't stopped her from being her same, outspoken self.

As I mentioned recently, she was part of the White House contingent that visited with D.C. law enforcement officials and National Guard members at the United States Park Police headquarters in Anacostia on Thursday evening with President Trump.

During brief remarks thanking the officers and Guardsmen for their hard work in securing the District, she promised them that the administration has their back on what comes after the arrests:

"I am making sure that we back the blue to the hilt," Pirro said. "Every arrest you make, we're going to the - longest way to make sure that we charge in those cases."

A new decision by the judge in the case about the brutal attack on former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) employee, Edward Coristine--which happened while he was defending a woman during an alleged carjacking incident in D.C. earlier in August--has people talking, as my colleague Nick Arama wrote earlier. The judge released two of the teen suspects from a local youth detention center.

But the latest action taken by the judge in the case raised some eyebrows on X.

A 15-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, who were charged with unarmed carjacking days after the attack, have been given lighter restrictions.

Since their arrest, the suspects had been held at D.C.’s Youth Services Center (YSC), where juveniles are placed in secure detention by court order. According to reports, Judge Kendra D. Briggs, who was nominated by then-President Joe Biden in 2021, ruled that one of the teens would be sent to a youth shelter while the other would be granted home arrest.

While the teens are being released from the YSC, they are still subject to curfews, weekly drug tests and electronic monitoring, NBC4 Washington reported.

Clearing Up Some Misinformation About the 'Big Balls' Case for Masculinity-Challenged Democrats

Judge Jeanine references the case in a new clip shared to her X account, weighing in with her usual flair.

Her words confirm something Arama pointed out, that the attack on "Big Balls" played a role in the president's federalizing the National Guard to safeguard the District:

I want to remind you that this pretty much began with the attack on that ex-DOGE person who was working at the White House, as part of an attempted carjacking, pretty much beaten to a pulp.

Judge Jeanine continued, saying that she has news on that while leading into her take on it:

Two 15-year-olds, out of the eight or 10 that [sic] attacked the ex-DOGE staffer and his woman friend that he was with, have been released from the family court, and they have been told that they are now on a curfew.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. This is why I want jurisdiction of these cases because, as a prosecutor, it's time to prosecute so they understand the consequences of what they have done.

She also gives an updated report card on how well Trump's takeover of D.C. with federalized National Guardsmen shoring up the local police is going, with zero homicides taking place over the past eight days--when, she says, there's usually "one homicide a week."

On Thursday night alone, there were 40 more criminals arrested, and five more guns were "taken off the streets...as part of the surge of President Trump's attempt to make D.C. safe and beautiful." She says that brings us up to a total of 719 arrests and 91 guns seized.
