In a follow-up on a report we made about New York Magazine reporter Ross Barkin possibly hit with an A.I.-induced dose of plagiarism, at NPR (National Public Radio) they dug into his recent work and came up with examples of two other times he seems to have lifted content from other outlets. His employer, NY Mag, is now going through his work history to see if there are more examples.
Next, we have a delicious example of misplaced condescension, as a prominent news hostess seems to ridicule House Speaker Mike Johnson and his impressions of the Declaration of Independence. Katy Tur is almost dismayed to hear Johnson’s take on the founding document, and it is because she is exhibiting a clear ignorance of the contents of the Declaration. This is a gem, to be sure.
We then look into another example of a journalist making the claim they are possibly censored, and they cannot seem to keep quiet about being silenced. And we have yet another example of the press taking a new approach to questioning the health and vibrancy of the president. That it comes from a major source, who took quite the opposite approach with Joe Biden, is both audacious yet expected.
Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.
