On Monday, Kash Patel announced that the FBI had thwarted an Islamic terrorist attack that was hatched in Dearborn, MI. According to the criminal complaint, Mohmed Ali and Majed Mahmoud, both of whom are reportedly naturalized citizens from an as-of-now undisclosed country in the Middle East, planned to carry out their slaughter on Halloween. They had codenamed their plan "pumpkin."
Search warrants of their homes and a storage unit revealed a stockpile of weapons, ammunition, tactical vests, and GoPro cameras, with the latter reminiscent of the livestreaming that took place during the October 7th attacks. Several other currently unnamed co-conspirators were also allegedly part of the plot.
All of this began in Dearborn, which has become the most Islamicized city in the United States and a growing haven for extremism. Recently, the Muslim mayor screamed at a concerned resident to "get out," accusing him of being an "Islamophobe." His sin? Opposing the naming of a street after Hamas supporter Osama Siblani.

Think about the implications of that. In the complaint, one individual is described as the "Islamic Ideologue," and that person allegedly has a long history of publicly espousing support for ISIS. One of the attackers had posted videos from that person on their Instagram, and apparently, none of this seemed at all out of line to everyone in Dearborn. The attacker then called the father of the "Islamic Ideologue," claiming he had a dream to do a "good deed," and instead of showing any suspicion, the response was to encourage them.
This didn't happen in Kabul, Ramallah, or Baghdad. It happened in a city that was once a slice of Americana. After decades of Muslim immigration, though, Dearborn has basically become a third-world country, barely policed by outside forces as extremism festers within. You have public figures cheerleading ISIS while mosques preach hate and violence. Adoption of American ideals and culture is actively opposed, and we are seeing the fruit of that.
Because of the willful neglect of politicians, both local and federal, there are no easy answers left. So many of the Islamists in Dearborn are now naturalized citizens, having abused the asylum system over the years. And to be sure, they have no plans to stop their expansion of Islamic influence throughout the country. Meanwhile, the Democrats who created this problem sit on the sidelines to cry bigotry about anyone who would dare point out how dangerous and anti-American this all is. Islamism is on the march, and the longer the Western world ignores it out of cowardice, the worse it will get.
