As RedState reported, President Joe Biden turned heads on Monday after he appeared to threaten House Speaker Mike Johnson's life.

While on the tarmac next to Air Force One, the president was pressed by reporters about his tyrannical Supreme Court "reforms" and Johnson's pledge to not move them forward. Biden snapped back that Johnson himself was "dead on arrival," reiterating the point when asked for clarification.

There were only two possibilities of why Biden would say such a thing. Either it was another example of how mentally deficient he is due to his worsening senility, which makes him completely unfit to finish out his presidential term, or he actually meant to threaten Johnson's life. So which was it?

When asked about that on Tuesday, Karine Jean-Pierre decided to try to straddle the fence in unbelievable fashion. Well, I say unbelievable to illustrate the absurdity of the moment, but I suppose it's rather believable at this point given this administration's history.

REPORTER: What did he mean when he said that Speaker Johnson is dead on arrival?

JEAN-PIERRE: So look, he actually addressed this right in his speech, in his remarks yesterday. He went right to it and talked about how his idea basically was dead on arrival. The Speaker's idea. He actually talked about it and he said what the Speaker, he reiterated what the Speaker said about the SCOTUS reforms announcement and then he said that his idea was dead on arrival. So I would just refer you to the president himself and how he addressed this directly during his remarks when he was at LBJ library.

What the press secretary is referring to is a clean-up attempt placed in Biden's teleprompter later in the day where he claimed that he meant Johnson's "thinking" was dead on arrival. Of course, that makes no sense given the Speaker of the House is, and stick with me here, in charge of the House. No Supreme Court "reform" package, much less one as nakedly dictatorial as Biden's, will ever come up for a vote under Johnson's leadership.

Regardless, if the president meant something else than what he originally said, that would mean that misspoke. Naturally, Jean-Pierre took offense to that framing, though, claiming that while he misspoke, he absolutely did not misspeak.

REPORTER: So he misspoke?

JEAN-PIERRE: I don't think he misspoke. He cleared what he meant specifically so people understood. I would not say he misspoke. I think he...

REPORTER: What did he mean when he said, "I think that's what he is?"

JEAN-PIERRE: Well...I, look, let's be very clear. He spoke while he landed, while he was, after he landed, getting off Air Force One, and he gets shouted questions and he responded. He just wanted to be really clear about what he mean by dead on arrival.

Imagine that being your job. Having to get up day after day and lie to everyone with a straight face, talking yourself in circles to desperately avoid admitting your mentally invalid boss made a mistake.

But hey, I'll take Jean-Pierre's word for it. If he didn't misspeak, then that means Biden meant to lodge a death threat against Johnson not once but twice. Remember when the president insisted we all need to "turn down the temperature?" Perhaps that should start with him.
