Joe Biden provided a reprieve from the news surrounding Israel's fight against Hamas on Saturday evening, as he delivered a buffet of senility during his latest speech.
The president was appearing at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) National Dinner when things went downhill. It's worth noting that the HRC is a rabidly anti-Israel (and anti-conservative) organization that has sought to make excuses for Hamas, but regardless, that's not what this piece is about.
Rather, we are here to discuss how this man is still president.

The crowd does its best to play it off by cheering, but we all know what really happened. Besides, is this really what's important right now? The cost of living has exploded and a major U.S. ally is currently battling a terrorist scourge that killed at least 29 Americans and still has over a dozen held hostage. In the face of that, the President of the United States is crying about pride flags being hung in public places. Pride flags. Freaking pride flags. We are not a serious country.
Biden went on to make this insane claim.
BIDEN: "When a person can be married in the morning and thrown out of a restaurant for being gay in the afternoon, something is still fundamentally wrong in this country — and that still exists!" pic.twitter.com/ZsLO3bioUD

No, gay people are not being thrown out of restaurants for being gay. That is an absolutely ridiculous assertion to make, backed by no evidence whatsoever. If that happened, there'd be a civil rights lawsuit the very next day. Biden is just making things up, and he's doing it to stoke hatred and division. It's disgusting and dangerous.
Meanwhile, on guns, the president showed his ignorance once again. Apparently, he doesn't know that a chamber is not a magazine and that no chamber in existence holds 100 rounds.

Hamas terrorists just stormed Israel and murdered upwards of 1,300 people, and Biden thinks now is a good time to push gun control. If that attack should have taught us anything, it's that having the ability to defend one's self is paramount. There is zero chance that an "assault weapons" ban will ever be enforced in the United States at this point, and to continue to push one is laughable. Biden can pass all the laws he wants. He's not getting America's guns.
Back to the displays of senility, the president fought his old adversary, the teleprompter.

That was nothing compared to his battle with the stage, though. As RedState has reported on more times than I can count, Biden has a real problem with exiting stages. It's like he's being asked to do quantum physics. It's not complicated. You simply walk down the way you came.
In this case, Jill Biden actually had to run up on stage to guide him down.

No, but really, guys. He's going to serve another four-year term. That's totally a thing that's going to happen. It's just a joke that this is what the presidency has become.
