As RedState reported on Wednesday morning, leaked videos of an emergency meeting that included top-level Disney employees produced some disturbing revelations regarding the company’s attempted sexualization and indoctrination of children into transgender ideology.
Here’s a taste of what that looked like.

The meeting occurred in response to Florida’s newly signed Parental Rights in Education bill, which seeks to prohibit the teaching of sexuality and gender theory to K-3rd graders without the permission of parents. According to some Disney employees, they are being made unsafe by the law, a contention that simply doesn’t add up.
For his part, Gov. Ron DeSantis has been stiff-spined in his response to the criticism, pulling no punches and refusing to bow to corporate pressures. While appearing on Tucker Carlson last night, DeSantis responded to the leaked videos and asked the big question surrounding this entire controversy.

When asked about Disney’s rabid opposition to the law in question, DeSantis says “You’ve gotta wonder…why is the hill to die on to have transgenderism injected into kindergarten classrooms or woke gender ideology injected into second-grade classrooms?”
That’s really the issue here, isn’t it? There is a stunning disconnect between how normal people view the sexualization of children (namely, it’s a very bad thing) vs. how the most outspoken opponents of the Parental Rights in Education law view it. Why does that disconnect exist?
I think it has everything to do with the overly-politicized notion that everything must revolve around and reaffirm one’s chosen ideology, especially in regards to “identity.” The most hardcore LGBT advocates today clearly don’t actually believe the “born this way” mantra that undergirded their movement for so many decades. Rather, they see it as necessary to shove their ideology down the throats of unsuspecting children, many of whom would have never given a second thought to being “transgender” or some other “identity” prior to outside influence. There is actually a need among some in the LGBT movement to “convert” children, though they would claim they are just uncovering what was already there (that’s ludicrous when you look at the LGBT splits by generation).
This law in Florida is so important and moral because it seeks to prevent that kind of manipulation of children by selfish adults who only want to advance their sexual and political agenda. Allowing children to be used as pawns for some radical teacher to push their worldview is emotionally abusive. It is preying on the lack of development and lack of discernment inherent in young children. That’s why it is imperative for parents and those who represent them (in this case, Ron DeSantis) to stand up not only to say enough is enough but also that preventative measures will be taken.
We’ve all seen the results of arriving late to a battle, only taking action after something have become pervasive. Florida isn’t making that mistake, and other states should follow suit.
Returning to Disney, it’s incredibly encouraging to see a GOP politician who has no qualms about going after the biggest employer in his state. America is not supposed to be an oligarchy, where wealthy individuals and corporations dictate to the little people how they should live. Representation means representation, and DeSantis is delivering that in spades.
