Videos of Joe Biden appearing dazed and confused aren’t exactly rare these days, but this latest example is fairly stark. He’s clearly not mentally well and has a hard time performing the basic duties of the office (including have much of any real interaction with the press).

Here’s the video in which Biden looks like he forgets where he’s at and/or what he’s supposed to be doing.

At the beginning, he seems to be greeting people in his typical robotic fashion but then tries to just wander off. The secret service jump in and attempt to usher him back to Marine One, which he’s supposed to be boarding. Instead of just turning around and going, he then looks to have a back and forth with the agents until Kamala Harris walks over, speaks to him, pats him on the shoulder, and points him in the right direction. That’s when Biden finally meanders toward the helicopter and boards.

Maybe this is nothing? Perhaps it’s just his thing to walk in the wrong direction toward a blank tarmac, something he also did during the campaign. But if we are honest, none of it feels normal. Even in what you would consider typical activity, Biden just looks like he’s out of it. His gate is short, and you’d think a light wind would knock him over because he’s so uncoordinated (wait, that’s what the White House claimed happened when he fell two days ago).

But we’ll never get confirmation of what’s really going on. Biden’s handlers are going to hide this until he can’t stand up anymore. Meanwhile, the media will pretend him face planting three times on the stairs of Air Force One is no big deal. The president isn’t well, and it’s obvious to everyone paying attention.
