Do you remember when anti-ICE protesters stormed a Minnesota church in January? The group included former pretend CNN journalist and now left-wing advocate Don Lemon.
You probably thought to yourself, "That’s a crime, and the agitators should be charged."
If you did assume that, then you’re a lot more logical than the St. Paul City Attorney’s Office, which said in a statement Wednesday that they are not going to take action because, unbelievably, “the current evidence is insufficient to meet that standard for criminal charges under Minnesota state statutes." This, despite the whole thing being on tape and with multiple eyewitnesses on scene.
As we’ve seen so often, there seemingly is no “standard for criminal charges” in the Gopher State. What a joke:

Fox & Friends: “At least 39 people still face civil rights charges on the federal level, that includes former CNN journalist Don Lemon.”
The good news? The preening Lemon and dozens of others still face federal charges.

Lemon claims he was there as a “journalist,” not an activist, but the DOJ thinks otherwise:
Earlier this month [January], Lemon livestreamed left-wing agitators who stormed St. Paul's Cities Church under the suspicion that its pastor had collaborated with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Lemon told viewers that "the freedom to protest" is what the First Amendment is all about, but Justice Department officials have been working to hold the participants accountable.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi wrote on X, "At my direction, early this morning federal agents arrested Don Lemon, Trahern Jeen Crews, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lydell Lundy, in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota."

The invaders claim they disrupted the service because one of the church’s pastors worked for ICE, which was conducting Operation Metro Surge in the Twin Cities at the time. That’s a federal crime, but to St. Paul prosecutors, apparently, it’s not a big deal:
In a statement, the Rev. Jonathan Parnell, lead pastor for Cities Church, said Kao’s decision “leaves us to question whether her commitment to protect religious people includes evangelical Christians.”
“According to the St. Paul City Attorney’s logic, it is perfectly fine for agitators to invade a mosque, a cathedral, or a temple, intimidate the families and children inside, and shut down their religious gathering. Just call it a ‘protest,’” Parnell said.
Gov. Tim Walz’s Minnesota continues to outdo itself to protect criminals, illegal aliens, and now, church protesters. Hopefully, the DOJ will take care of the job for them, and Lemon will one day be wearing orange.
