'The Answer Is No'—Biden Opposes Idea of Israel Taking Out Iran's Nuclear Weapons Sites

Retiring President Joe Biden continued to try to dictate how Israel should defend herself, saying on Wednesday that he opposes a preemptive Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities despite the fact the Islamic Republic shot hundreds of missiles Tuesday at the Jewish state and has supported the Hezbollah terrorists.

“The answer is no,” Biden told reporters when asked if he would support such retaliation after Iran fired about 180 missiles at Israel on Tuesday.

Biden’s comments came after he and fellow Group of Seven leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom spoke by telephone about coordinating new sanctions against Iran.

The White House said in a statement that the leaders “unequivocally condemned Iran’s attack against Israel” and that Biden reaffirmed America’s “full solidarity and support to Israel and its people.”

Biden added that “there are things that have to be done” in response to the Iranian barrage. He said he expected sanctions from the G7 nations to be announced soon.

Looking befuddled as he often does, Biden again argued that Israel's response should be "proportional." What happened to "shock and awe?"

This is the same guy who has consistently appeased Iran and undermined Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at every chance.

The administration talked tough, but then wouldn’t even decide to tighten oil sanctions against Iran:

The White House vowed Tuesday to impose consequences on Iran for its latest attack on Israel — after a similar attack in April — but would not commit to tightening the enforcement of sanctions against Iranian oil exports, despite bipartisan calls to do so from Congress. [Emphasis mine.]

Whether Netanyahu will listen to the lame-duck president is another matter since the two men are clearly not fans of one another.

It’s unclear if the Israeli government will listen to Biden’s latest policy preference — after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ignored Biden’s demand Monday that he not authorize incursions into southern Lebanon to disable Hezbollah sites.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Biden’s warning against an invasion of Lebanon was viewed in Israel “as almost pro forma, given that there was no threat nor was there any presentation of an imminent diplomatic solution.”

As bad as Biden is, he might actually be better than his potential replacement, Queen Word Salad:

It's no wonder the mullahs are hoping for a Kamala Harris victory in the presidential election.
