Although Joe Biden declared repeatedly on the campaign trail and since taking office that he had no knowledge of his son Hunter’s overseas business dealings, a new poll shows over seven in ten Americans think he is “at least somewhat aware” of his drug-addicted, sex-obsessed son’s activities.
What does that say? It says that almost 70 percent of us think the sitting US President is a liar.
The poll was taken by Rasmussen Reports and released Tuesday. Rasmussen sums up their findings:
A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 69% of Likely U.S. voters believe it’s likely the president was aware of at least some of Hunter Biden’s major foreign business dealings, including 49% who think it is Very Likely. Just 22% don’t think it is likely President Biden was aware of his son’s foreign deals, and 10% are not sure.
RedState’s Nick Arama and others have extensively covered the Hunter Biden story and the treasure trove of information recovered from his abandoned “laptop from hell,” including copious porn, discussions of his questionable business dealings, and much more.
What Joe Biden and his son Hunter are doing to this country is CRIMINAL! Everyday we uncover more and more crimes. Where’s the media on this? Once Republicans take back the House, investigations WILL HAPPEN!

The poll surveyed 1,000 voters between July 14 and 17 and showed that a stunning 55 percent of voters are “closely following” reporting about Hunter Biden’s laptop. This despite the media’s desperate attempts to bury the narrative, including when, right before the 2020 presidential election, Twitter suspended the NY Post, the outlet that broke the story.
Speaking of the Post, here’s what they wrote Tuesday:
It [the poll] found that 62% of voters believe the president benefited financially from the first son’s business relationships in China, including 44% who say it is “very likely.”
And 69% reject the president’s assertions that he doesn’t talk to his son about business — 49% say the president “very likely” knew and just 22% think he was unaware of his son’s business relationships.
But a majority — 56% — believe Hunter Biden will not be prosecuted.
How cynical have we become as a people? Seven in ten believe that the president isn’t telling the truth, yet almost six in ten believe Hunter Biden will face no charges. That tells you all you need to know about how Americans view our hyper-political Justice Department.
The litany of the Bidens’ unethical behavior is long, but to me, the most egregious example of nefarious conduct is that Hunter flew aboard Air Force Two to China when his father was the sitting vice president. Per the BBC:
In 2013, Hunter flew aboard Air Force Two with his father, who was then vice-president, on an official visit to Beijing, where the younger Biden met investment banker Jonathan Li.
Hunter told the New Yorker he had just met Mr Li for “a cup of coffee”, but 12 days after the trip a private equity fund, BHR Partners, was approved by the Chinese authorities. Mr Li was chief executive and Hunter was a board member. He would hold a 10% stake.
This is such an obvious conflict of interest and a clear case of influence peddling that it’s mind-boggling dad and son got away with it.
The White House has consistently denied that Joe and Hunter spoke about Hunter’s questionable dealings. These days, they simply won’t discuss it at all. “From this podium, I am not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop,” Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in her daily briefing in early July. There’s some transparency for you.

The censoring of the laptop story by Twitter and others may have actually changed the course of history. Had Americans known the true depths of depravity of the president’s son, and the extent of dubious overseas business that Hunter and the president himself did with our top international rivals, many people might have voted differently.
The most salient fact this poll shows, however, is that Americans simply don’t believe their president is telling the truth, and by extension, is corrupt. That’s some damning news for an already-flailing administration.
