New Poll Showing the Effect Biden Scandal Would Have Had on the Election Is Infuriating

A new poll from the Media Research Center conducted by McLaughlin & Associates has to give one pause about the media’s interference in the 2020 election on behalf of Joe Biden.

The poll found that 36 percent of people who voted for Biden were not aware of his connection to a Chinese company with connections to the Chinese Communist Party through his son Hunter or that Joe Biden may have financially benefitted from those connections.

Would it have made a difference? Oh, yeah. Thirteen percent of those folks, or 4.6% of Biden’s total voters, say that if they had known, they wouldn’t have voted for him. Oh, my.

That would have made a critical difference in the election.

Why didn’t they know? Because when the New York Post broke the story in the final weeks before the election, Twitter literally tried to stop the spread of the story, admitting they were trying to prevent people from sharing the URL, even shutting down the NY Post’s account. Other media completely downplayed the scandal, suggesting there was nothing to it or that these were just accusations by Trump as opposed to facts already determined by an investigation by the Senate.

MRC President Brent Bozell called out big tech and big media over their handling of the scandal and the attempts to suppress it.

“It is an indisputable fact that the media stole the election. The American electorate was intentionally kept in the dark. During the height of the scandal surrounding Hunter Biden’s foreign dealings, the media and the big tech companies did everything in their power to cover it up. Twitter and Facebook limited sharing of the New York Post’s reports, and the liberal media omitted it from their coverage or dismissed it as Russian disinformation.

“Now we know the impact of that cover-up. 4.6% of Biden voters say they would not have voted for him had they been aware of evidence of this scandal. This story would have potentially changed the outcome of this election. The media and Silicon Valley were fully aware of this, so they actively tried to prevent it from reaching the American public. The American people deserved to know the truth; now it’s too late.”

73% of the people responded to the poll had heard about the allegations, 27% had not including 36% of Biden voters.
Some still voted for Joe Biden (86.9%), others would have voted for a third-party candidate (5.6%), some would not have voted for any presidential candidate (4.7%), not voted at all (1.7%) or switched their vote to Donald Trump (1.1%). That translates to 13.1% who wouldn’t have voted for Biden or 4.6% of his total vote.

Given the close nature of the election in a variety of the battleground states, it’s easy to see how this critical information could have swung the election. It’s also easy to see that might explain why media went all-in trying to shut it down and prevent Americans from finding out.
