Rosie O'Donnell, the actress/comedian and former co-host on ABC News' "The View," has had a long standing public feud with President Donald Trump - one that predates his time in office.
O'Donnell, some might know, moved to Ireland earlier in 2024 after Trump was reelected in November. Then, in the middle of the tragedy in Texas' Hill Country with flash flooding leading to over 100 deaths and counting, she felt the need to share her misguided opinion on who is to blame.
The Left tried to immediately place the blame on the Trump administration, allegedly cutting government employees at the National Weather Service for deaths - something that the DHS called out the media for, and even CNN finally admitted was false just a handful of days ago.

In fact, the NWS had extra staff on hand. But the facts don't stop loudmouths like Rosie O'Donnell, who took to her TikTok account to accuse the president of causing the loss of life.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt didn't namecheck O'Donnell directly during a press corps briefing this week, but her admonition applies to her just as much as Democrat politicians and their media conspirators [Note: the O'Donnell TikTok plays first, below]:

President Trump had some business to attend to on Saturday morning, as we previously wrote, announcing new tariffs on both Mexico and the EU.

But he made time to ratchet up the feud with O'Donnell on Truth Social, responding to her disgusting insults about the flood victims:
“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
As I mentioned, though, the tit-for-tat is nothing new - and it appears to have started in 2006 with the then-daytime talk show host jabbing at Trump:
Trump and O’Donnell have long been in conflict, with their feud dating back to a 2006 episode of “The View,” which O’Donnell hosted at the time, in which the actor criticized Trump’s “moral compass,” prompting him to later lash out and call O’Donnell a “woman out of control.”
You may have missed this, but when the Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin visited the White House in the spring for Saint Patrick's Day, and Real America's Voice reporter Brian Glenn's question in the Oval Office about O'Donnell prompting a fun exchange with Trump:
Rosie O’Donnell seems very happy living in Ireland so why not make this a permanent vacation.

Flashback when I asked the Taoiseach his thoughts on why in the world would you want this sad woman in your country. @POTUS
Actually I wish her the ‘luck of the Irish’. pic.twitter.com/IRrvPn9AvI
Pres. Trump thanked Glenn for asking the question, saying he liked it, then throwing out a playful barb at O'Donnell by asking the Taoiseach, "Do you know who that is?"
Of course, she's already hit back at the Saturday Truth Social post, sharing on Instagram -- in a post curiously without any capitalization (the poet e.e. cummings would like his style back, Rosie):
the president of the usa has always hated the fact that i see him for who he is - a criminal con man sexual abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself - this is why i moved to ireland - he is a dangerous old soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy compassion and basic humanity- i stand in direct opposition all he represents- so do millions of others - u gonna deport all who stand against ur evil tendencies - ur a bad joke who cant form a coherent sentence #nevertrump
I'm going to give Ms. O'Donnell a little bit of unsolicited advice at this point. Since it's the weekend, here's the most famous scene from "A League of Their Own" (1992) -- and much better times for her. You know the scene I mean. And to paraphrase Tom Hanks' character here, speaking to her character, "Why don't you zip it, Rosie," for all of our sakes?
