You Need to See the Powerful New VP Vance Video That Could Recruit the Next Generation of Warfighters

On Wednesday, JD Vance, the first U.S. vice president to serve as a Marine, spent the day with his brethren at Virginia's Marine Corps Base Quantico, as my colleague Teri Christoph wrote:

Vance had apparently been delayed in an Oval Office meeting, but made his excuses to President Trump and hotfooted it down to Quantico on Marine Two. He arrived with one heck of an excuse note for his tardiness, noting the president had sent his best wishes from the White House: "We love ya, we're proud of ya and we're going to support you every single step of the way."

The vice president greeted his fellow Marines with a hearty "Oorah!" -- much to the delight of the crowd. He joked that, although he had never spent time at Quantico during his time of service, he was a "proud member of the E-4 mafia," and wanted to run for vice president because "it was time for the colonels and the generals to listen to the corporals for a change."

Especially cool was Vance's reaction afterwards to the visit. How much fun is this guy having as VP?

If you can't see the X post, Vance writes: "Become VP, get to shoot machine guns with Marines. Not a bad gig!"

Team Trump must have realized what a gold mine the optics of the whole thing was, and bright and early on Thursday morning, they came out with a slick video that honestly could be released in its current form to recruit the next generation of warfighters in our military. Powerful stuff here.

He writes:

The United States is strong thanks to the strength of our Armed Forces.

President Trump and I want excellence in America’s military, and we are going to make sure our Marines are the best, most lethal fighting force in the world 🇺🇸

The message the video projects to the world is a far cry from the devastatingly weak one the Biden administration projected over the past four years. When dealing with politicians, though, it's wise to demand actions, not just words. Luckily, we're already seeing action take place with Trump 2.0; earlier in March, SecDef Pete Hegseth ordered thousands more U.S. Army troops to head to the southern border and secure our national sovereignty, flatly stating the mission goal of "100% operational control."

Here's hoping that young people are fired up by the results of the 2024 election, and help to rebuild the force strength America needs in the years to come.
