So far on Election Night 2022, the Republican Party has cashed in on the predictions that there would be a red wave in the midterms, with candidates across the country garnering wins, including several races in Georgia and Florida, among others (like a surprise win in Guam). Expect more victories to be on their way, throughout the night.
But the results are also showing something else happening–some of the GOP’s main antagonists will also be returning to D.C. Here are three of them:
Rep. Ilhan Omar, a member of the so-called “Squad,” will return to Congress for the 5th congressional district, according to Decision Desk.

There were also two of them from New York — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won another term for the 14th congressional district seat, and Sen. Chuck Schumer also won reelection to what will be his fifth term in the U.S. Senate.
