Guess Who's Kicking Democrats When They're Down: Hunter Biden

Screenshots from alleged iCloud "leak" of Hunter Biden videos.

Most all parents or grandparents have encountered times when their beloved offspring have misbehaved in one way or another. We correct them, as best we can, theoretically using the incident as a teaching moment to prevent a reoccurrence.

Not fun by any means. But that's a parent's job and duty to them, themselves, and those they will love and live with long after we are gone.

Which is why it's been so disturbing in recent years to witness the sad, sad life of Hunter Biden, son of Joe and Jill Biden.

In the audio commentary below I list just some of the offenses this man has committed, any one of which would be a formidable shock to a parent. Drug abuse. Expelled from the Navy. Alcoholism. Affairs with family. Illegitimate child and refusing to pay support. International influence-peddling off his family name. Federal gun crime. It goes on.

Joe Biden (or the White House autopen) granted his son a blanket pardon for those offenses and anything else in that time period that might come to light in the future.

Hunted Biden is 55 years old. He claims to have rehabbed. I hope that's true.

Some, however, are questioning his recent judgment. Fortunately for the country, his father has been out of office a few days more than six months now. Their Democrat Party remains in tatters, leaderless, and appears unable to figure out why it lost so badly last year and what to do about it.

Its members have reverted to serial attacks on anything Trump says or does, which is understandable given a decade's-worth of their Trump Derangement Syndrome. Opposition parties tend to be critical like that in a functioning democracy.

But that's it. They're offering nothing new, no constructive alternatives, which is not the path to earn your way back to power in a functioning democracy.

Now, in the midst of that party's internal wrangling, Hunter Biden has chosen to participate in some interviews. Not to urge some new direction.

But to angrily and profanely attack his father's party and turn his media opportunities into profanity-laced fury in defense of Joe Biden and how the party should have kept him on as its 2024 presidential nominee. Despite that president's glassy-eyed display of dementia during the presidential debate that he so eagerly sought with Trump 13 months ago.

If you have a strong stomach, you can listen to one of his outbursts on YouTube. It lasted more than three hours.

Here's my audio commentary on the situation and what it means politically.

This week's Sunday column examined Barack Obama and the recent shocking documented revelations by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. They detailed how deeply involved that former president was in concocting, developing, and promoting the fictitious Russiagate hoax to undermine the term of his successor eight years ago.

We go back and examine the political life of Obama, his serial gaffes and lies, and the scandals that he now denies ever occurred.

The so-called winner of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize, who had accomplished zip to earn it at the time, went on, without notifying Congress, to order the U.S. military to join European countries in overthrowing Libya's leader. Despite international assurances years before that they'd leave Libya alone if it relinquished its nuclear weapons program. Which it did.

This rash move ended up turning Libya into today's lawless state and heavily-utilized training ground for terrorist bands, including the remnants of al Qaeda and ISIS.

Other than that, Obama might be a worthy peace prize recipient.

The most recent audio commentary ponders the significant possibility that Donald Trump becomes the one world leader who dares to call out Russia's Vladimir Putin for his expansionist dreams, now playing out in such deadly fashion in Ukraine.
