'How Dare You?' Civil Rights Attorney Harangues Geraldo Over Blaming Trump

Richard Drew

Civil rights attorney Leo Terrell recently got in touch with his inner Greta Thunberg.

During a broadcast of Fox News program America’s Newsroom, he wrestled with Geraldo Rivera over chaos at the Capitol.

In the past, Geraldo’s hurled bones in The Donald’s direction.

As I covered last February, Rivera said he’s hated most of all for his half-century triggering team-up with Trump.

Before the election, Geraldo pumped up a phone call with “heavyweight champion Trump,” who was still “looking for the knockout.”

And in late November, the legendary talk show host offered a notable suggestion for America’s COVID vaccine: Call it the Trump.

Proposed national breeze-shooting:

“Have you got your trump yet?”

“I got my trump, I’m fine.”

Moving along, as Dems talked impeachment, Geraldo harangued Harris’s No. 1:

But has Rivera reversed course?

These days, he’s placing responsibility — at least in part — on #45 for January 6th insanity in Washington.

Hence, during discussion of impeachment Thursday, he served up this:

“What the Senate has to do which is — a joint bipartisan resolution to censure Donald Trump. Let’s censure him. Let’s say what you did was unacceptable. You incited that.”

Trump could stay in the game:

“We know that you’re not gonna be convicted on impeachment. We censure you. You can run for office later if you care to, if the people want you to. Let’s have a remedy for what happened.”

Leo Terrell had worked up a lather.

He got sudsy like Greta:

“How dare you blame Donald Trump for that! We have a rule of law. We have due process. For you to come on and say he was responsible is wrong. You should not say that and you should apologize to President Trump for that statement. You have no facts to justify that.”

But Geraldo hit right back:

“President Trump needs to apologize to us.”

The attorney demanded evidence:

“No. You’re wrong. I will ask you right now on TV. Tell me the words, the magic words he used to incite those criminals. Tell me the magic words right now.”

In case you’re unfamiliar with Leo, the man’s a former Democrat.

As he explained in September, he eventually realized the Democrat agenda was insane.

Therefore, he left “the asylum”:

And now, it seems, he thinks America’s mustachioed news man is crazy.

Still, Geraldo wasn’t going down without a fight:

“What in the hell did you think the crowd was gonna do when they got to the Capitol? What were they gonna do?”

Back to the lawyer:

“That’s speculation.”

In the case of both of ’em, I’d say objection sustained: The argument — nationally — is gonna go on for a very, very long time.
