Elon Musk says Cancel Culture’s got to go.

The technological revolutionary’s been putting out quite the tweeted content lately. As covered by RedState’s Nick Arama Elon, encouraged his followers Sunday to “take the red pill.”

In case you’re unaware, that’s a Matrix reference:

“You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.”

Trump Jr. approved Musk’s message:

That tweet followed the entrepreneur’s battle with California over reopening Tesla, during which he threatened to move the company to Texas.

And last month — as noted by Nick — he had strong words for tyrannical rulers of the US of A:

“I think the people are going to be very angry about this and are very angry. It’s like somebody should be, if somebody wants to stay in the house that’s great, they should be allowed to stay in the house and they should not be compelled to leave. But to say that they cannot leave their house, and they will be arrested if they do, this is fascist. This is not democratic. This is not freedom. Give people back their…freedom.”

Well, Elon’s continuing his championing of liberty — this time, essentially, the freedom to think and say what one wants.

On Tuesday, he implored the world to “cancel cancel culture!”

He capped that off thusly:

The tweet wasn’t without its conservative attaboys, including Parkland advocate Kyle Kashuv and the great Dave Rubin:

Lots of people liked it:

Of course, he also got some clapback:

Elon may not be calling himself a Dittohead any time soon, but The Daily Wire notes that he’s known for going against the grain:

For instance, as billionaires like Bill Gates and others were actively pushing population control measures to help with climate change, typically in poor African countries, Elon Musk went against the grain and said the world actually needs more people on the planet, not less.

“The world’s population is accelerating towards collapse, but few seem to notice or care,” he tweeted in 2017 in response to a New Scientist article about a “population bomb” going off in 2076.

“Real issue will [be] an aging & declining world population by 2050, *not* overpopulation,” he tweeted in 2019. “Demographics, stratified by age, will look like an upside down pyramid with many old people & fewer young.”

As for canceling cancel culture, America’s cultural Marxism is definitely due for a demolishing. It’s ridiculous, in my view, that someone can be ruined for expressing a contrasting point of view. Moreso, I find it disturbing that anyone would want to ruin another person, based solely on their political or ideological disagreement.

The world is a varied place; and as the saying goes, any time two people are thinking exactly alike, one of them is not thinking. Furthermore, generally, people shouldn’t be counted out in the present due to past missteps.

Elon is right — everyone should be allowed the liberty to voice their ideas. And in that place of diversity of thought, there is indeed “more fun.”

And what is Cancel Culture, other than bullying? Here’s a bit of thought I’m a fan of, from üDOü:

The fatal flaw of cancel culture is the arrogance and hypocrisy in it. Sometimes, your way isn’t the only way that’s right. Let’s not say that no one else can make mistakes. We’re quick to see the wrong in others but we don’t see it in ourselves. Anyway, some of these people are being crucified for what? Tweets or posts from years ago? I mean, I’m pretty sure we all posted something in the past that we truly regret… … Right now, the very act of saying that something is canceled SHOULD be canceled. Cancel culture is a very unhealthy mindset that just triggers a hate cycle. There is enough hate in this world without us having to add…to it.

Oh, and in case you needed more evidence that America’s resident genius is a free-thinker, I’ll leave you with the announcement of his new son’s name:
