As previously covered by RedState’s Bonchie, three Orthodox Jews were murdered in a Jersey City kosher grocery store Tuesday.

NBC News relays that one of the two suspects killed by cops had a social media page filled with anti-police and anti-Jewish content. That man was reportedly a follower of the Black Hebrew movement, “some of whose members,” U.S News notes, “are known to rail against whites and Jews.”

Black Hebrew Israelites can refer broadly to people of African descent who claim to be descended from the biblical Israelites and practice certain Jewish rituals. The movement emerged from a stream of late 19th-century black nationalism that claimed African-Americans were the true descendants of the ancient Hebrews.

It seems clear the murders — which totaled six — were the result of targeting.

From Public Safety Director Jame Shea:

“There were multiple other people on the streets. There were many other targets available to them that they bypassed to attack that place. So it was, clearly, that was their target, and they intended to harm people inside there.”

In the aftermath of the tragedy, an incredible vulgarity-laced video has emerged, compliments of former Democratic New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind, who previously represented Brooklyn’s District 48.

The Daily Wire observes that “many Hasidic Jews have moved into the neighborhood where the shooting took place.”

In the clip posted to Twitter, local residents are shown blaming Jews — and their entrance into the neighborhood — for the crime.

One woman on the sidewalk at the scene keeps things crystal clear:

“I blame the Jews. ‘Cause we never had a shooting like this until they came.”

She appears to believe there’s a double standard with regard to black people:

“If this had been the other way around, they’d be killing us. And everybody who’s standing right here knows that. ‘Cause if this had been the other way around, they’d be killing us right now. Look how black people act. We can’t do it to them?”

Continuing:

“A civilian got hit. There’s a school right across the street. They don’t give a f*** about us.”

The murders were brought on by the presence of Israelites:

“[M]y children are stuck at school because of Jew shenanigans. [They’re] all the problem. Because if they ain’t come to Jersey City, this sh** would never go on.”

She wants them to get out and take their problems with them:

“People’s kids are scared. People’s kids are stuck in school. Take that sh** somewhere else.”

A man asks the videographer — who’s from Americans Against Antisemitism — “It was your kind that did it here, right? And four of y’all dead, right?”

He’s glad:

“Four of your people that were dead, right? If they was dead, they got shot dead — that’s great.”

Another man is heard yelling:

“Get these damn Jews the f*** out of here! Get these f***ing Jews — get the Jews out of Jersey City.”

Watch the video above. It’s stunningly disturbing. How did we get here, and how do we turn the tide?
