Bill Maher Tells Bill and Hillary to Stay Far Away from the 2020 Convention: 'We Can’t be Associating Them with the Democratic Party'

Could Hillary Clinton make a comeback?

Personally, I think she has a better chance than does Elizabeth Warren — on the debate stage, Donald “The Dragon” Trump will engulf her in his fiery expulsion, and that’ll be that.

But Hillary’s got some hot breath, too.

And some people still wish she’d won last go ’round.

Unfortunately for all people on earth, she believes she did. And she keeps saying things to that effect (here).

Perhaps that’s why Bill Maher wants her to shut up, and keep on shutting up.

On his Real Time show Friday night, Maher said it’d be best if Bill and Hillary go the way of the dodo bird and stay out of next summer’s 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milkwaukee.

Personally, I’d bet Hillary’s already snagged her ticket on Expedia.

And maybe also one for 2021’s inauguration.

A one-way.

But here’s what Bill had to say:

“It seems like every few months, Hillary Clinton bubbles up again. And people are like, ‘Oh, she’s thinking about running.’ Or she says something crazy.”

Ditto on that second part — like here, here, here, and here.

“The Clintons — they’ve got to go away. I’m saying this a year out. They can’t be at the convention. Maybe on the video, waving or something, but I’m serious.”

That comment surely chapped Hillary’s hide — she’ll let go of the spotlight when it’s pried from her Kung Fu grip (here).

Now here’s something interesting: Bill referenced Independent Michigan Rep. Justin Amash’s labeling of Ms. Bill Clinton as a “Donald Trump asset” after the former First Lady’s attack of Tulsi Gabbard as a Russian one (see here).

The host thinks Justin was right on the money, honey:

“She is! And Bill is damaged goods. And I just think they’ve got to go away. We can’t be associating them with the Democratic Party.”

Wow. Who ever thought those words would be spoken by a liberal on television?

Real Time guest Donny Deutsch chimed in with something exceedingly goofy: Maybe Bill Clinton’s public status will improve as time goes by, as did George W’s (Pssst — Donny, W.’s status was only low to people across the aisle; and some of those same people have decried Clinton in light of the #MeToo revolution).

Maher explained that Mr. Clinton’s Q is moving in the opposite direction:

“But [Clinton’s] got worse! We forgave him, and then we unforgave him!”

Personally, I think Hillary should give it a go. But she faces a terrible risk — she’s spent the last three years claiming she was robbed; if she loses again, she’ll look even more like this, every time she brings it up:
