On Saturday, SuperBeto O’Rourke, who couldn’t beat Ted Cruz but who some expect to defeat Donald Trump — who beat Ted Cruz — promised to get rid of that thing the voting public hates so much: American wealth.

His plan? To break it apart.

Speeding toward Bernietown, Beto tweeted the following:

“The unprecedented concentration of wealth, power and privilege in the United States must be broken apart. Opportunity must be fully shared with all. We must all have the opportunity to succeed. Together. As one country.”

“Yesterday on abortion, you said it’s a woman’s right to choose. Does that include up until the third trimester?” a reporter asked.

“Absolutely,” O’Rourke responded.

“I think those decisions are best left to a woman and her doctor,” he added. “I know better than to assume anything about a woman’s decision, an incredibly difficult decision, when it comes to her reproductive rights.”

Well, if he didn’t win you over with abortion, guns, and illegal immigration, at least he’s gonna chop up American prosperity.

There’s nothing worse than wealth and privilege in the U.S.

Beto O’Rourke is worth $9 million. He inherited $5 million from his father. His wife’s father — real estate tycoon William Sanders — has a net worth of $500 million.

Just as with left-wing-proselytizing entertainers, I’l take him seriously when he gives away all but $32,397 per year — the per capita income in the United States. 

I look forward to that break up — the one between him and his family…and their money.

As for breaking up power, he can start by taking himself out of the running for the most powerful position on the planet.
