This last Wednesday our President, Barack Obama, was the commencement speaker for the Worcester Tech High School graduation. As always, this President really rose to the occasion. He ventured down a path most are too frightened to travel.
The first Hipster President took it upon himself to shake off the pomp and circumstance that comes with not only a high school graduation, but a visit from the President of the United States.
Instead, Obama got real with the crowd of graduates and talked about how he wouldn’t be remembered by them. His very cool, self deprecative, monologue reminisced about not paying attention at his graduation, captivated by thoughts of the after-party. He also noted that he didn’t remember the party either, though there was no mention of the Choom Gang.
Check out the video from Digitas Daily (sign up for their daily email here) which highlights the incredibly hip, while continually irresponsible, comments of President Obama.
Now, I am not the biggest fan of this President’s near daily degrading of the office, but I really would hate for him to think he will not be remembered.
I mean, he has done so much.
So, in an effort to help the President out and ensure that the future leaders of America, who cheered so exuberantly, never forget who their commencement speaker was…

While the above isn’t a comprehensive list of memorable moments in the life and times of President Barack Obama, barring Osama Bin Laden coming back from his watery grave with a scimitar made of fire while riding seven dragons on a direct route to Jerusalem, which, quite frankly seems more and more possible every single day, it does cover the bases rather well.
So despite what Obama said in his reflections upon his misspent youth, the 2014 graduates of Worcester Tech will always remember Barack Obama.
He has done so much.
