New: Iran's 'Supreme Leader' Vows Revenge on USA in Text-Only Message

Once again, Iran's mysteriously invisible "Supreme Leader," Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late and unlamented Ali Khamenei, has issued another outpouring of bile. This time the supposed Supreme Leader is issuing threats against the United States, and again, those threats are delivered only in text form.

Where is this guy?

What he's saying: Mojtaba Khamenei — who was seriously wounded in the attack that killed his father, and hasn't appeared in public since — pledged on his Telegram channel to "avenge your pure blood and the blood of all those martyred in these two wars by bringing the criminal and dishonorable killers to justice."

  • "This revenge is the demand of our nation, and it will most certainly be carried out. These criminals — whose names are known from top to bottom — will take to their graves the unfulfilled wish of dying peacefully in their beds. They should know that this does not depend on my personal presence or that of any other official," he wrote.
  • Khamenei added that whether he is alive or dead, the revenge for his father's death "will be accomplished," and stressed that "soon, freedom-loving people throughout the world will each carry out part of this divine mission."

On his Telegram channel. Is this guy even above whatever passes for grass in Tehran right now?

Iran has a long, long history of its mouth writing checks its butt can't cash, and this is certainly another example. Iran is, to put it bluntly, cooked. Now, whoever is running the mysteriously invisible Supreme Leader's Telegram channel has to be aware of the fact that the only thing Iran might do is to play for time, time to build some more drones, time to train a few more goblins, time to appeal to Russia or China (Iran's number one customer for oil) to intervene on their behalf. Time, though, isn't Iran's friend right now, especially since, aside from a few tepid objections, Russia and China don't seem too anxious to get involved.

These people also have to know that even an attempt on the life of an American president, or, for that matter, any senior official, would bring down a rain of fire upon them the likes of which the world hasn't seen since World War 2. And no, that doesn't mean nuclear weapons; frankly, we wouldn't need them. President Trump's latest remarks indicate that the United States military is already pretty much locked and loaded, and all he would have to do is yell, "Go."

1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME! Orders have already been given, and the U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran - PRAISE BE TO ALLAH! President DONALD J. TRUMP

'Locked and Loaded': Trump Says 1,000 Missiles Will Drop on Iran If They Keep Trying to Kill Him

So, this isn't anything new for Iran. But again, another text-only message from the Supreme Leader, who hasn't been seen since the attack that killed the old goblin and reportedly disfigured the junior goblin. That has been the reason trotted out a few times to explain the lack of public appearances, but what it's increasingly looking like is that this guy is no longer carrying out metabolic functions. Where is this guy? Why hasn't Iran given proof of life? Slap some bandages on his face, and release a photo of him sitting upright holding today's London Times. Yes, I understand that such an image could be faked, but the USA has a plethora of imagery sleuths that could spot a fake - and besides, Iran has historically been laughably bad at issuing such fakes.

How seriously should we take threats from a guy who may well be in the same grave as his father? The answer is, "Not very."

Editor's Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
