San Francisco has been a nutty place for some time now. The city's been a stronghold of liberals for years, arguably since shortly after World War 2. But over the last couple of decades, the city's leftist population has crossed over into pure wackadoodle. It's also a hotbed of Trump Derangement Syndrome; if President Trump found a way to generate clean, free electricity from nothing, the San Francisco left would suddenly be campaigning in favor of coal plants.
Now, in the latest chapter in "San Francisco goes completely bat-guano nuts," San Franciscans are taking to the streets (I'm sure it's genuinely spontaneous) to protest Trump's ouster of Venezuela's tinpot dictator Nicolás Maduro.

Note the usual things from leftist protests: Neatly, seemingly professionally printed signs, along with badly spelled hand-made signs with poor penmanship and worse grammar. AWFLs. People are still wearing COVID masks. It's a cavalcade of the usual suspects.
There's one thing, though, that makes these people look even dumber than they already do, and that's saying something. That thing, of course, is the reaction of Venezuelan expats in the United States, people who fled the dictator Maduro's illegitimate rule. These folks aren't chanting "Hands off Venezuela." They are, literally, dancing in the streets.
“This feels like a breath of fresh air”: Venezuelans in South Florida poured into the streets of Doral early Saturday, celebrating the U.S. military action in Venezuela that led to the arrest of President Nicolás Maduro.

The post continues:
People carried Venezuela’s flag and sang together in the early morning hours. “It's not an act of war. It's an act of freedom,” one Venezuelan said.
One Venezuelan said. Not "one Republican said." Not "one American right-wing war-monger said." A Venezuelan. That seems to be the running narrative among Venezuelan expats right now.

But wait! There's more! These happy Venezuelans are jumping for joy, and none of the people they are expressing their gratitude to are San Francisco liberals.
They came out in the middle of the night when they heard the news, some still in pajamas as they joined the crowd of revelers waving Venezuelan flags and dancing, singing and crying.
“Thank you, Lord, thank you president of the United States. I’ve been waiting for years — he’s done so much damage. This has been horrible,” said Yajaira, a Venezuelan American from the city of Maracaibo.
A Venezuelan, who came to the United States because of Maduro and his dictatorial, corrupt rule. This guy has a vested interest in what's going on in Caracas right now. None of those San Francisco nutbars do.
The news that the U.S. had attacked Venezuela and captured President Nicolás Maduro and his wife elicited a spontaneous celebration in front of El Arepazo, a restaurant in Doral, a city in Miami-Dade County nicknamed “Doralzuela” because it has the highest concentration of Venezuelans in the U.S.
“We’ve been here eight years, eight years already,” Yajaira said, referring to how long she’s been in the U.S. “They killed my older brother. It was so tough. They kidnapped my brothers. That was tough. I thank God for all of this because it’s been tough,” she said, her voice breaking as she looked up at the sky.'
Yajaira can go home now. The new Venezuela will need its people back if it's to grow, as it should, into a modern, prosperous country. Venezuela will need a lot of the people who fled Maduro's thuggery; its professional people, its working people, its families.
As for San Francisco liberals and nutbar leftists, well, when considering how much importance to place on the actions of two groups of people, look to see which ones have skin in the game. The Venezuelans who are celebrating, in Caracas and in Florida, have some personal stake in what's happening in Venezuela. The San Francisco protesters just hate President Trump. That, really, is all we need to know about this, and that's for sure and for certain.
