More good news, everyone! An Italy energy interest has just committed to the purchase of two million metric tons (tonnes) per year of American natural gas for the next 20 years, making for a $15 billion deal.
That's a lot of natural gas that Italy doesn't have to get from Russia.
🚨 BREAKING: Another huge win for American energy dominance has just occurred...

...Italy agrees to purchase $15 BILLION in USA natural gas following Trump's tariff threats.
This makes Italy more reliant on the US instead of RUSSIA for energy across 20 YEARS.

The post continues:
A ridiculous amount of winning is occurring right now. Increasing Europe's reliance on buying up American energy was a high priority for President Trump.
The deal occurred right after Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with Trump at the White House, AND after Trump set his tariff deadline for the EU.
The deal is between an Italian state-controlled energy company, Eni, with the American supplier being Ventura Global. This is Eni's first long-term commitment to the purchase of American natural gas.
Venture Global (VG.N) will supply 2 million metric tons a year of liquefied natural gas to Italian state-controlled energy group Eni (ENI.MI), opens new tab, the two companies said on Wednesday.
The deal is Eni's first long-term contract for LNG coming from the United States after Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni told President Donald Trump in April that Rome would increase imports of U.S. LNG as a way to improve trade relations with North America.
Last month Venture Global said it would supply an additional 0.75 million metric tons per annum of LNG to Germany-based distributor SEFE Energy GmbH, in another deal with a European offtaker.
The European Union is currently in negotiations with Washington over 30% trade tariffs on its exports towards North America.
"We do not comment on the ongoing negotiations between the EU and the U.S. administration on tariffs," an Eni spokesperson told Reuters, calling Wednesday's agreement "highly advantageous" for both the company and its American partner, which would become an important supplier for the group.
Italy currently supplies 35.4 percent of its energy needs with natural gas, with another 37 percent from oil, meaning that nearly two-thirds of Italy's energy comes from fossil fuels. And the United States, which is enjoying an increasingly warm relationship with Italy, is ramping up gas and oil production.

Much of the gas to be purchased is projected to come from fields in Louisiana, near the Gulf of America.
Eni said the gas would come from Venture Global's Calcasieu Pass 2 project, under development in Louisiana, starting from the end of the decade.
Part of the volume will contribute to the diversification of Europe's gas supplies, the energy giant added.
Eni said the deal would support the group's ambitions to grow its LNG portfolio to approximately 20 million tons per annum of contracted volumes by 2030, and to expand its trading business.
It's in Italy's interest to buy from the United States instead of Russia, being that the USA is 1) a considerably more stable country than Russia under Tsar Vladimir I, and 2) far less likely to have any pipelines suddenly truncated. And, to be perfectly frank, the apparent friendship between President Trump and Italian PM Giorgia Meloni probably isn't hurting the deal, either, especially since the Italian PM is now spared the necessity of her famous eye-rolling whenever in the presence of the incompetent Joe Biden.
This is a good deal for Italy and the United States. And, nope. Still not tired of winning.
