As if we needed another reason to think DNC Vice Chair David Hogg was cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs... Well, get a load of this. In an interview with radio host Charlamagne Tha God (yes, he really calls himself that) on Friday, David Hogg made a truly astounding recommendation for the leadership of the Democratic Party.

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Vice Chair David Hogg said during a Friday interview that Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett is an ideal role model for their party.

Crockett has rapidly surged to prominence with her racially-charged tirades and inflammatory anti-Republican attacks, such as calling wheelchair-bound Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels.” When radio host Charlamagne Tha God requested Hogg’s thoughts on Crockett, the DNC vice chair gushed about the congresswoman, saying she delivers the “authenticity” that Americans desire.

Authenticity, David? Seriously? She's authentically nuts, I'll allow that. As for the rest of the comments from the DNC Vice Chair (for now), they're about what you'd expect:

“Jasmine Crockett — I love her. She is amazing. I think that people want to see somebody who fights and calls out the bullshit ultimately. I think that’s what Jasmine does,” Hogg told Charlamagne. “And we need a hell of a lot more people that are out there that are willing to do just that and call people out on their BS and not say, ‘Oh my God, Republicans are going to criticize me for saying this.’ Screw that. They’re going to criticize you no matter what. So what we should be asking ourselves is, what are we really fighting for? Because we know it matters.”

“And I think Jasmine is, frankly, the type of leader that we’re really looking to support in some senses, right? Somebody who is out there that frankly doesn’t give a damn what the other side  — at least the elected Republicans in Congress — say,” he continued.

Wow. Cognitive dissonance, thy name is David Hogg.

Granted, given the status of Mr. Young Noodle-Arms in the Democratic Party today, it's unlikely any of his recommendations will be taken too seriously.

Republicans, on the other hand, should be encouraging this notion. Yes, we want to see that loudmouth Jasmine Crockett taking on a leadership role in the Democratic Party. Only a few hours ago, I penned a piece on how the Democrat leadership was either fossilized or foolish (the two, mind you, are not mutually exclusive), and Jasmine Crockett definitely falls in the latter category, with whopping big doses of racism and dishonesty into the bargain. And, just to make the whole thing even more fun, she attended the elite Rhodes College and the University of Houston Law Center, and has an estimated net worth of between $2 and $9 million. Yeah, a real lady of the people, her.

In other words, she may be the perfect representative of the modern Democrats.

To the Democratic Party, I can only say this: "Yes, yes, please do this. Please place Jasmine Crockett in a senior leadership position in your party, and hang on her every word. Accept without question her every whim, no matter how whacko it may seem. She and people like her are the key to assuring you will remain a niche party of urban elites, academics, big-city snobs, and the dependency class, forever and ever. America will thank you for it."
